At first glance it looks okay, however, there is no elevator, the safe didn't work, and the shower didn't work so I had to switch rooms and they did not offer me anything or even apologize. Breakfast starts at 6am. We were here for 3 nights for work and had to leave at 4:45am. Most hotels will offer a little snack bag with a water, snack bar, baked item and fruit but they didn't offer anything even when I asked. read more

Pro: nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Con: we stayed 4 days and they never cleaned our room. Once they came in and emptied trash and gave us clean towels. The sink took forever to drain, I asked 2 days in a row and they said they would use draino but that never happened. Each day we had to put our garbage cans in the hall to get them emptied and a new bag. It would have been nice if our bed was tightened and maybe even changed in the middle of our stay. read more

Booked a disabled room on line and paid ,got to hotel and the disabled room was given to someone else. Husband is disabled. He is a disabled veteran and is not able to get into bathtub. So they gave us a first floor room but that is not the way to handle a disabled person. Very bad and very upseting the room was complimentary after compliant not ok to give away disabled room. Then checked out today and was told we yelled at the desk clerk which did not happen we told her not ok but there was no yelling . We had reservations for next week which we canceled and will never use Cobblestone Inn again. read more

My family of four (two kids under 5)!stayed at the Cobblestone Hotel when we were in town for a funeral. They offered us reduced rate for "bereavement." We stayed in a double queen room on the first floor. The room was equipped with a TV, microwave, mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, bathtub/shower and hair dryer. The hotel also features a pool (with family and adult hours) and a mini snack shop which also sells beer and toiletries. Breakfast in the morning was simple, consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage links, boiled eggs, waffles, juice, milk, muffins, cereal and sliced bread. Breakfast hours start at 6am M-F and 7am Sat-Sun. The morning we checked out (a Saturday), was the only day where we couldn't eat breakfast, as they were out of food by 8am. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the sheets/blankets were comfortable. On the days we took the do not disturb sign off our door, they made the beds and replaced the towels. One of our relatives who also stayed at the hotel said their beds were not made, and when they tried to discuss this with the front desk, they didn't get anywhere as their seems to be some confusion about exactly what was expected. Shampoo, conditioner and bar soap were included in the room; however I was disappointed that they did not provide hand lotion. Regardless, I was pleased with what we got for the price we paid, and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seward. read more

We were traveling across country and had to stop for the night. We didn't know what to expect but the places is very nice. Indoor pool, meet space, a bar And comfortable front lobby. We did the biggest room they had with a king a jacuzzi tub. The room was clean, all the items were in awesome condition and the memory foam mattress was ultra comfortable We did have problems with the cable in the room but Jessica at the front desk did everything in her powers to try and help and made us feel very welcome. When we had to take a last minute unexpected trip to Nebraska for a family emergency we turned to this Hotel to book our short stay. Thanks to the help of employees Jocelyn and Jessie we were able to book our stay and get an early check in without having to pay the fee which we really appreciated! We needed a hotel for Sunday night into Monday morning but we needed to check in Sunday morning and check-in isn't typically until 3pm but that's where they helped us by allowing us to check in earlier than that without an extra fee. This hotel is pet friendly though they do charge $25 a night per pet. The room was clean and the hallways were quiet. Cons: The TV in the room had a controlled low volume setting which I understand but it made it difficult to relax and watch tv except if you were ok with the volume and the channel selection was not the greatest. Their breakfast was pretty lousy but we made it work. Overall we would stay here again but if the prices were lower considering what you get, we'll that would help with the negatives. read more

My family is scattered, and wanted to gather in one central place. We reserved rooms here, and the staff bent over backward to make it all work smoothly for our 3-day stay. It has been totally remodeled, and is very clean & well-kept, as well as small enough to make it a very personable experience. There was a hot meat, and egg dish for breakfast every morning, in addition to the standard toast, cold cereal, yogurt, waffles, etc. Overall, a definite 5-star experience! We will certainly stay here again if in the area. read more

Nice, clean, pet-friendly hotel. My only complaint was: Upon check-in the girl asked if I had been told about the $15.00 pet deposit. I had not been notified. I have no problem with a pet damage deposit and asked when the deposit would be returned, she then had to admit it was not a deposit, but a fee. Still I had no problem with that. For the price this place is a fabulous deal. They have a little bar/lounge, pool, laundry, and snack shop in the hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Close to a few food places and gas station. Breakfast was included with all kinds of hot/cold options-make your own waffles, cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt, and coffee. The only complaint is the noise from others in the hotel, can definitely hear the people above if you are on the first floor, but other than that no other complaints- this place was great! read more

What a rip off. This place used to be nice however has gone down hill significantly. Stayed here the last 3 nights and put us in a room that had holes in the walls in the bathrooms that were very poorly patched, mold on the outside windows, beds that are wallowed out, a tv remote that doesn't operate the tv. Charged waaay too much for this crappy room. $129 a night? I don't think so $50 is more like it. Would not stay here again. read more

In September of 2017 I made a reservation for 2 double rooms for our son's college graduation in May 2018. In April, my in laws decided the trip would be too physically difficult for them and they opted to not come. I called to cancel one room so that another family could reserve the room that weekend. On Wednesday, May 2, I received 2 emails-both saying I had a reservation for the following day- graduation weekend. Wanting to make sure that I had only one room reserved despite the double email, My wife called the hotel. The woman who answered the phone told her we had 2 rooms reserved. My wife shared that we only needed one and if she would make sure that she canceled the other, that would be great. We told told her again that we wanted to make sure that we had a room - I even said, "Great, I'll see you tomorrow!" Sounds great- have a great trip she replied. When we arrived- NO ROOM! We were told that all rooms were cancelled and the person working only said that she was sorry but she wasn't working yesterday. While obviously it is not her fault specifically, when you are the front desk you ARE the cobblestone. We were very disappointed that despite our best efforts, Cobblestone cancelled our room for such a very important weekend and really had no resolution. read more
