The hotel overall is in need of a refresh - the doors are dinged up and showing their age, calcium build-up around the faucets, etc. The floor, bedding and bathrooms appeared clean, but there was a significant layer of dust built-up on top of the coffee maker and headboards in the room. Soundproofing wasn't great either - our room faced the interstate exit and I was hearing semis on and off the entire night. The Applebee's within the hotel is nice if you are wanting to stay in for the night. There are other hotel options in York and I will likely be booking elsewhere when I am back for the same tournament next year.

We thought we were being diligent, just not diligent enough, and we were so glad we spent one more day where we were before coming to the Double Nickel. That was the first kindness. The park is very clean, well laid out, and has great amenities. There is a security gate, pool, video games, and my favorite, large wooden swing at each camp site. Nice people and well maintained park.
