Dollar General came to mind, but I remembered Trader Joe's has bagel seasoning. I knew Aldi and Trader Joe's are owned by same holding company. I googled and we were 1.8 miles away. Spouse is bitching about traffic and picking up items. I run in and there are 3 varieties of bagel seasoning: plain, Jalapeño and Asiago cheese. She chose plain. The cost was cheap at $1.95. The dish soap was nearby at an end cap. I knew they probably weren't gonna pay me so I picked generic Tandil brand for $1.69 over Dawn for $4.95. The store is huge but I didn't have much time to browse. I had my own plastic bag in my jacket from dog walking. The checkouts were around 8 or so and had a huge long bagging table. I'll probably stop again when not in a hurry.

Kwik Trip has recently expanded to several locations in the St. Cloud area. This is one of them,…read morejust opening on August 25th. For fans of Kwik Trip, you know what they offer. If you aren't familiar with them, they're a cross between a hybrid Casey's-like convenience store and a grocery store. Not only do they sell gas, but they also sell fresh meats, grocery basics such as bananas, milk and eggs at a very competitive price, loads of fresh bakery items made on-site, hot convenience foods, lots of coffee options, and more. I stopped in here twice this past week and was very, very impressed with the quality of customer-friendly service. The cashier honored some coupons that weren't yet on. I walked out of there with about $10 in groceries that I probably paid $4 for, after using all the grand opening coupons. The store is nice, it's clean, the employees are friendly. I'll definitely be stopping back into this location and the others that will be opening soon in town. It's nice to have options in your convenience stores. With this addition to St. Joseph, the town now has a Super America, Casey's, Holiday, and Kwik Trip all within less than a mile of each other.
