Aloha, after leaving San Sebastian, driving to Bordeaux, we stopped in Vigo for lunch. Stumbled onto Cocedero La Piedra on a back lane, where we saw a one-man-stand of oyster in front. Wow, what a find. We bought the oysters separately, but the restaurant served them to us (which BTW were amazing too). We proceeded to order a bunch of shared dishes from the restaurant too, wow, wow, wow, oh so ono! Everything from the razor clams, squid, sardines and cockles (my fav) was amazingly ono. Love this place, would definitely make it a pit-stop again when in the area. Enjoy! read more

Good food and good vibes! Got a table for 8 and service was fast. Came recommended by locals.

This restaurant is one of many lined up in the la piedra market where people sit inside or outside and enjoy an abundance of fresh seafood. The seafood is freshly caught in this morning so once they sell out- they close the restaurant (which tends to start happening around 3pm). We ordered a huge medley of seafood from clams to cockles to shrimp to scallops to razor clams to oysters to young mussels... they were all so fresh and delicious! I still dream about these vacation days... And absolutely LOVE the seafood paella here- honestly the best I've ever had (unsurprisingly)... 1 order was large enough to feed 4 people. It wasn't overcooked and mushy, and you can distinctly taste the fresh flavor from the abundance of seafood mixed into it. And do not forget to have the local beer with the seafood for the cherry on top! read more
