There are two Dr. Grays, a father and son which adds to the confusion. I had seen Dr. Gray, the father, a few times. He should be retired by now. No confidence in his ability to diagnose anything serious, after he had no idea what a wart looked like! The practice sees too many patients. Never can get through or have a call returned at all! Or a week later! The visit when they gave me a year-old order they pulled out of a drawer for blood work under someone else's name really cemented my opinion.

After 4 calls over 2 weeks to get "approval" for my prescription (which I didn't need) for the exact same prescription I've had for 6 years - they fraudulently told me I had to make an appt to come and see the dr! After 2 hours of driving and half a day off, when I got there, the nurse told me ... I'm so sorry, you didn't have to come. It was their mistake!! They changed to a call center - all the calls to their office are now answered in some other state (Illinois I think). Then 2 weeks later, my insurance company was billed $1002 and I was billed $222! All calls and, emails and messages (and a personal message directly to my doctor) to delete this bill have been met with the worst patient service in my 65 years. Their attitude is: "we couldn't care less." Find a better provider. Run away from this so called provided.

I made an appointment yesterday because I developed sudden, severe pain and swelling in my finger…read more While it may sound like a minor complaint, by Sunday morning the pain had become excruciating. I could no longer fully straighten or bend my finger, couldn't make a fist, and the swelling had extended from the base of my finger into my palm. The pain was so severe that I couldn't comfortably hold my cellphone or even pick up my son. When scheduling my appointment, I wrote "possible trigger finger, maybe an X-ray" because I was simply trying to describe my symptoms--not diagnose myself. At check-in, I was turned away by the front desk before ever being evaluated by a medical provider. I was told, "They can't do anything for a trigger finger." I explained that I didn't know if it was trigger finger and that I was only listing it as a possibility. I was then asked if I had any trauma to the finger. When I said no, I was told an X-ray wouldn't help either. What concerns me most is that no one actually examined my finger. No provider looked at it, assessed the swelling, or asked additional questions before deciding I couldn't be seen. I went to another urgent care immediately afterward, where I was promptly evaluated and diagnosed with cellulitis. I was started on antibiotics and prescribed ibuprofen, and within a day I experienced noticeable improvement. While it still hurts, I can now move my finger much better. My complaint isn't that the diagnosis was missed it's that I was denied a medical evaluation altogether based solely on what I wrote as a possible diagnosis during scheduling. Patients often describe what they think might be wrong, but that should never replace an actual assessment by a healthcare provider. I hope this office reviews its triage process so that future patients with potentially serious conditions are not turned away without being examined.
