They weren't just bartenders to me, they were friends. Even if I were just passing by, Salvatore and Sandra made it a point to say hi. It made me feel comfortable and at home in a city I had lived in for only mere days (I am American). Oh yeah, their drinks at great. They have a terrific selection of cocktails that they make with care and expertise. They take pride in their craft while maintaining an atmosphere of friendliness. It truly is a great place to grab some drinks and make some friends. I would recommend it to anyone, and I hope to be back in Valencia soon to be back there. Mi pub favorito en España. We were there mid-afternoon and they weren't busy. Service was ok. Ambience must have looked better in the 1950s. (I'm guessing it looks better at night.) Agua de Valencia was perfectly fine but not life changing. It was nice to sit down for and take a break from touristing.
