I attended an event they catered last week and I was impressed. They had a nice variety of food. The hit of the night was the Mac & Cheese martini's with a variety of toppings that included chicken, pork, fried onion, tomato, jalapeno, etc. It tasted amazing and I went back for seconds. The staff were all wonderful but I want to give a special shout out to William & Jasmine. He went above and beyond to make the night spectacular. We used cocktails catering for our March 2022 wedding and we highly recommend using them!!!! We went into their show room a few months before the wedding to do a tasting which was so fun and lovely! They have an EXTENSIVE menu. It was really hard to choose but ultimately we were extremely pleased with our final menu. The quality of food was amazing and we loved everything we tried. They also provided our non alcoholic drinks and servers/bartenders. We worked with Alycia who was so nice and helpful! She helped us pick table cloths, charger plates and other table decor. She gave honest input and useful information to help us make decisions. At the reception we heard nothing but positive things about the food/service from our guests and ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS of the entire wedding day for me was the way they served me and my husband at the wedding. We had our own personal server who made sure our every need was taken care of. I truly Felt like a princess. They were so accommodating and helped make the wedding day a stress-free breeze! The ONLY issue we had was that we chose to have a Caesar salad for dinner on our menu, but everyone was served a garden salad. Not a big deal! Salad is salad. My fiancé and I are getting married on 2/22/2020 and Cocktails Catering was the preferred caterer for our venue. It was no question as to who we wanted to go with after we got a look at the menu and what they offer. From the start Alycia was excellent, she's very informative and helpful. Wedding planning can be really stressful but she made this process so easy and enjoyable! We booked a tasting and they kindly allow 2 additional guests so my fiancé and I brought along my parents for second opinions. The chef came out and explained each and every dish and sauce in great length. You can really see how passionate he is about the quality of his food. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and the hardest part was deciding what to serve. My fiancé is Colombian so it was important for us to add a little Latin flair to the menu, which was very easy to accommodate. Being that my venue works so frequently with Cocktails Catering I breathed a huge sigh of relief when hearing them explain the day of process. 5 stars for amazing service, impeccable food and a wonderful experience. Attended a wedding recently where Cocktails were catering. Staff friendly and set up was nice, however, the sliders were left under the heatlamp so long the buns were really hard. No condiments other than chimichurrie. It would have been nice to have options. Also, the stirfry table was really not great. The noodles were hard and crunchy almost inedible. Veggies were not cooked at all. However, the shrimp were excellent. Pasta bar was great from what others said. Obviously I got in the wrong lines, but it was hard to tell what was what. Big hit was the Pierogi's. Again, I didn't have them but the line was so long and everyone that had them said they were delicious and the guy running that table was super friendly. THE SPIRIT AIRLINES OF CATERING....FEES GALORE. Served us waffles that the reheated from Costco. To preface this review, we feel that cocktails tried their best to make it right, but if you aren't someone who will stick up for yourself, they can easily pull one over on you. We chose Cocktails because they were the cheapest caterer of the three options at our venue and also provided rentals for a decent price which we needed since our venue provided nothing. From the beginning of our experience almost a hear out from our wedding it was positive. They were willing to worm with our custom breakfast for dinner idea and we loved our even manager. However, things went downhill once it came time for our tasting and our event manager changed. We came to our tasting and only half our menu was actually prepared which was barely anything. At the tasting we noticed that the waffles were suspiciously the same taste and look at the prepackaged ones they sell as Costco... I asked and YUP COSTCO WAFFLES. They charged like $10 a waffle for a premade, microwaved Costco waffle! This was our main dish! I could tell the chef was embarrassed I knew and I think that is one of the only reasons that when I asked to review our menu again to make sure it made sense and was enough food for all, they were flexible on price and allowed us to get the true breakfast menu. My next biggest issue was the amount of hidden fees they sneak in. They might as well be owned by Spirit airlines because you will pay much more than that ore persons price at the end of it all. A month before our wedding in our final contract they tried to add a $250 trash removal fee (blamed it on our venue adding it) but they knew our venue a year prior when we booked and it was never Included on any prior contracts. Luckily I was able to negotiate this off the contract since it was their mistake to forget it. I would say that our food was honestly the least impressive part of our day. It was food, not great food, heck, not even hot food, but food. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. I think if you don't have other options, are willing to do your work, stick up for yourself and read the contract versions thoroughly, they are ok. But don't expect the food to be anyone's favorite part of your day. ISSUES 1. Sold us Waffles from Costco at 30x the price (yup, even asked the chef who confirmed they were the prepackaged Costco ones) 2. Gave us the wrong menu at tasting 3. Added "extra 20% tip for bartender" late in game with no prior notes in the contract which meant we had to tip that certain amount in ADDITION to the tip for the whole event they add in. 4. Added $250 trash fee a month before the wedding they "forgot" after over a year of signing contracts together and knowing the venue all along. 5. Food was cold (we were on time and the first people through the line) 6. We really had to check their math and re-read every iteration of each contract to make sure they didn't sneak in extra fees. 7. You get what you pay for! Cheap meant tons of add on fees and cheaply made food. COMPLIMENTS 1. They did attempt to make the extra fees right by giving us "discounts" 2. They did clean up super fast 3. They boxed up leftovers nicely 4. Bar tender was great 5. The rentals were all great 6. The table set up looked nice 7. They were cheapest of our picks for our venue. Throughout the planning process, from start to finish, Hannah has been so kind, professional, organized, diligent, and patient in working with us and answering all of our questions and honoring our requests. No matter what time of day, or day of the week, if we had a question or needed to update or change something regarding our wedding plans, catering selections, wedding day timeline, etc Hannah has always been great with communicating, responding, and addressing things in a timely manner, which we really appreciate. Well, I'll keep it somewhat short and kinda sweet. Food I did have was tasty. I Carving station was at the front of the buffet line which slowed everything/everyone down. People don't like to cut in front of others when in a buffet line. No salad plates offered, so no room on your plate for a salad at the end of the buffet, but you had to make due. Ran out of food and grooms parents were the last table called because tables were called in numerical order. That's just plain wrong. Parents of bride and groom are to be called up first, after bride and groom are served, no matter what their table number is. When multiple servers were asked how does a catering company run out of food; did you not have a meeting with the chef, etc, one server decides to start mouthing off. All hor d'ourves were not passed around because cocktail "hour" was cut short, even though this was known from the get-go. Tons of cocktail hour food was then plated (because they were told to) and set at the guest tables. I must say that I'm surprised at how positive the ratings are on here...let me explain. We booked our venue and learned that Cocktails Catering have done a lot of events there so we decided to check them out. We met with Brittany who was helpful and understood our needs and priorities. We've changed our proposal several times and she was patient with us. But that's not why I'm giving a poor rating. We ended up going with a different company for food but we ended up renting linens from them because we already put down a non-refundable deposit. Earlier in the week before the reception party, we got a confirmation call that confirmed our order as well as the delivery details. On the day of the event at 5pm (when they were supposed to deliver the linens), they didn't show up. 6pm rolled around (cocktail hour started at 7pm) and still nothing. We called at 6pm asking where they were and they couldn't even locate our order. After providing additional information, it was only then they realized they were supposed to deliver linens to us over an hour ago. They didn't show up until 6:45pm which of course, pushed all the decorating back by that much time. It was stress that didn't need to happen - I am not sure what happened cause we didn't even get a call with an explanation. But it just seems like they're unorganized and they talk a big game with all these wonderful services they offer but in the end, under-deliver. read more

I had a 400 person event I was planning and Cocktails Catering was suggested to me by The Heaven Event Center as a preferred vendor so I reached out to them. Avery was the main contact I worked with and he was so passionate and excited about his business that I knew I wanted them to be part of my event. We met at their warehouse which is also a tasting and experience set up. You can schedule a small tasting event or just go in for one on one food or drink tastings. They will work with you on whatever you want and make sure your event is special. For my event we went with a live cooking station with fresh bruschetta and ceviche, yum. Just kept saying "it is not in our order!" They set desserts two hours earlier than what was discussed so the whipped cream was warm. And they thought it was perfectly acceptable to put someone in charge of our day who was new to their company. She obviously needed some training. There are other choices in Orlando for catering. I have to give it up to Avery (the owner) for his constant generosity towards me and my husband. If you're smart you will never ever use this company weRecently used them for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. The preparation went so well that we were excited but the execution went horribly wrong I'm not sure if it was the events manager had no clue or maybe was new to her role I don't know or maybe they just didn't care enough to prep properly. Let's start with cocktail hour, there were not enough plates and napkins so our guests were walking around with cheese and fruit in their hands and then had nowhere to empty their garbage because they forgot to put out garbage pail's. I the mother of the bride missed part of the cocktail hour because I couldn't find the event manager at all even with the help of the staff so I had to help the bartenders find someone to run and get them water and ice Which wound up leaving one bartender to wait on bar alone causing a long line during the cocktail hour. The bartenders were however AMAZING THOUGH and these were things that were NOT their fault they hustled and tried to correct all bar related issues. We couldn't locate our events manager Barbara. So I had to reach out to the Orlando science Center manager to help me. Finding her was like where is Waldo nobody can find Barbara Moving on to our celebration there was no butter for the rolls or mashed potatoes we were told they forgot to bring extra and ran out. Then some of my guests whom were there with children were turned away when they asked for extra helpings of food as they were also getting food for their children. They were refused the extra food and told they would have to get back in line. We spent extra money on a mash potato martini bar that was broken down two hours early and they claim it was because no one was using it but yet it was the most popular thing at the wedding Even though there was no butter guests used other toppings. And even if people we're not utilizing the mashed potato bar at that time shouldn't I have been asked first before they broke it down? There was no extra plates bought to the reception so when guests got up to dance their plates were removed leaving them no way to go back for more food. I had to purchase my own "To Go" boxes for guests and then they didn't even put them out. I had to remind them and then they took them away again shortly after which annoyed me immensely because they wound up throwing away all my extra food except some pretzel bites and potato skins even though they said they'd box the food up for us to take home at the end of the night. They forgot the coffee so at dessert hour we had 167 guests with no coffee we paid extra for that too. They tried to rectify the situation by going to 7/11 and went out and purchased one box of coffee with 6 cups no cream and a handful of sugars for 160 people. The bride and groom my daughter and son-in-law were never given their end of the nite food bags so they never even got to eat at all. They were promised bags to take home but then were told that someone threw them away by accident. They also pre chilled all my alcohol at the celebration even though we had three discussions about not doing so so that I could return unopened unchilled alcohol Because they did this I could not return my alcohol due to labels peeling off from being wet I called the owner and so did my daughter three times they refuse to take any responsibility and gave excuse after excuse basically said there's no way any of this happened even though we have proof and will be taking this further but while we're doing that I wanted to warn as many people as possible to stay FAR away!!! Doesn't matter how well your pre prep goes. Ours went great and the execution went wrong!! HORRIBLE COMPANY HORRIBLE SERVICE!! There are so many other options to choose so do yourself a favor and stay away from CC. This is your important day so don't risk having the garbage issues we had. Other things happened as well but I'm saving that information private so they can not yet again come up with even more excuses to protect themselves on why certain things happen because that's all they are full of excuses it was so terrible and my daughter the bride was crying at her own wedding. It infuriated me that they couldn't step up and take responsibility for the horrible execution of this wedding!! That's all we wanted. Was them to take responsibility an apology and a partial refund and they refused all. They did say they'd give 300 for coffee lol. The only reason they received one star was because the two bartenders truly did work their butts off and made the guests have fun. Even though there was a bumpy start with ice and water they were amazing once they got things under control. Heed my warning. STAY AWAY!! read more

My wife and i got married in April and during the whole planning phase i was so adamant about the catering. People judge weddings on the venue and food and myself being in the resteraunt industry and a fatty, i wanted all the aspecta of the food to be perfect. Our wedding consultant Sasha went through all our options and what would be great for our venue simce it was smaller and not a traditional venue. She was so patient with all of our questions and my families obsession with shrimp cocktail. When it came to the execution of the choices we made, the team they chose to cater our wedding was amazing and outstanding. The food was raved about from the lamb chops to the prime rib we couldn't have been happier. The bartender was on point with the specialty cocktails we created and they came out perfectly every time and our guest were just so happy about them. The catering manager on site, Mark was a delight to see work. He was so great with his team getting everything right and tight for our big day. He was on top of every detail. We can not be more pleased then hiring this team. The 1st time we went to try the food we picked out for our wedding was really good. But I wanted to change my food for some reason so they let us come back a second time the time of course pay for our tasting which went to the wedding. I just had to go with the carving station. They were easy to work with, really listened to my needs and worked within my pretty small budget. Was just at a wedding they catered. This was one of the worst catered events I've attended. They were extremely late setting up and didn't even have water available for first hour. The appetizers were over cooked. Some type of chicken tortilla shell appetizer was so hard we couldn't bite into it. Food set up was slow.and unorganized. Roast beef way over cooked and dry. Chicken okay. Green beans were frozen and served mushy, tepid and tasteless. Risotto was a pile of mush. Rolls burned in the bottom. Cake wasn' Served until most guests had left and was cut so poorly that it looked unappetizing. Poor presentation. read more

When I called a month later I spoke to Britanny. She is very nice and efficient. I look forward to keep working with them all the way until wedding day. This vendor is flexible and works with you to meet your needs (they allowed us to pick up our linens early so we could set up our reception). The food they provide is divine, and our guests could not stop raving about it.
