The worst part I can share from my experience here was the long waiting time for the take-away order to be ready. Everything else was great. My order of the Coco Bap (pop corn chicken + rice + egg + kimchi) was such a good value at $14.95 + tax. The serving size was big, and I was not comfortably able to finish it in 1 seating. Another dish we were able to try was the Fried Chicken Sandwich combo meal ($15.50 + tax) which was OK. I was not a big fan of how they cooked the fries. I don't like its level of hard and crunchy. Was pleasantly surprised with this place. They have a really great website that you can place orders on beforehand. It's a small storefront meant moreso for take-out but there are a few seats. I loved the way the chicken was cut - they were small really crispy bites. I would say the sauce doesn't really taste like authentic korean chicken but it was still really good nonetheless. The portion was really big and fed two of us. Would definitely recommend checking out if you're craving korean fried chicken in guelph. read more

We were in the mood for Korean Fried Chicken and decided to give Coco's a try. We ordered take out since we were not able to sit inside the store to eat during this time. We had two orders of their chicken wings and waffle fries combo and man were we stuffed by the end of our meal! Their portions were much bigger than expected with generous amount of waffle fries. We ordered two flavors: sweet & spicy and honey garlic. My favorite out of the two was the sweet and spicy! We took our takeout to eat at home and the chicken & waffle fries still stayed crispy and fresh. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely order here again in the future. There was a bit of a wait as they were busy around dinner time (7pm ~ 15 minutes wait time?) but we didn't mind because that means our chicken would be fresh! I had heard good things about this place and finally decided to try it myself. Let me say, I was not disappointed! I do not consider myself someone who goes out of there way to have fried chicken but I would definitely order this again in a heart beat! I tried the coco bap with honey garlic chicken and kimchi and it was delicious! The chicken is a great mixture of crunch and sauce and the sauce covering this meal is also delicious (a garlic mayo I believe)! Another Gem from Guelph. So you take basic chunks of chicken and smother it with this awesome Sweet and Spicy sauce. Pack it in with a base of rice add a side of Asian Slaw, top it off with a fried egg, add some yummy mayo and top it off with a sprinkle of seaweed. Sooooooooo Gooooood! Really good chicken, but unfortunately it cannot be recommended as preferences for which sauces you want added (or do not want added in my case) are ignored. You cannot get chicken without the added sesame seeds at the end because of an unfortunate communication barrier (Guelph location). If you try to mention this to the owner to get the issue resolved for next time (so food is not continuously wasted with sauces and seeds you asked to not be included)- you will be referred to as a racist and become "underserving of their chicken". This is actually a mind baffling response and very offensive and inappropriate reaction to someone who simply doesn't not want sesame seeds included in their meal due to allergies. read more
