This review is specifically for the service department. Brought my 2025 GV 70 in for a smell I noticed when turning on the A/C. At the time, I figured like anyone else would that perhaps the air cabin filter needed a change. My "service advisor" stepped into my vehicle and was convinced "100%" that I had a dead animal in my car, although it is parked on the 4th floor of a parking garage every single day. I left the car to be diagnosed and hopefully fixed. When I asked this "advisor" how long it would take, he refused to give me any estimate. The same day I received a call from the service manager Ronnie, who told me he took a look and didn't see a dead animal (shocker), and that everything was ok for me to pick up my car. When I arrived, the smell was still there if not worse. His solution; call corporate to discuss my warranty. Fast forward 2 months later, I bring my car to a different Genesis dealer for maintenance. The person servicing my vehicle was SHOCKED that I had not had air filters replaced, despite it being a part of my scheduled maintenance package. Needless to say, both filters were replaced and the smell is now gone. The laziness and incompetence of the service team at Coconut Creek can not be understated. For this alone I would never return to that dealership to even purchase a vehicle, and I would recommend others to also avoid given the lack of transparency. read more

The worst. E-Mailed me asking to have service done and that they haven't heard from me in some time. So I called got voice mail and left a message , never hearing from the so I gave up. This is only the third time in the passed that I tried to have them service my car so now I go to Delray and get a live person and for the third time have never had a problem. Just saying read more

have been going to this service department at this dealership for over years since I got my vehicle. They are great , this review is for the sales / appraisal department. I brought my vehicle to get appraised, mind you I already got two appraisals from other places. When I brought my vehicle there , at first the sales man that I was going ti get was busy on his phone, a manager tried to get his attention but he had to eventually text him to get his attention. When the sales man eventually was helping me, and realized I wasn't buying a car you can tell not very interested. Then I called out side to see my car from the manager who was concerned about some damage on the foam cover under the hood. Mind you I explained to him that damage was there offer 2 years ago. I closed a hammer on it that I didn't realize I left on the engine. He was like rodents and didn't believe me. I explained to him this vehicle was here numerous times, I just had it serviced, he gave the look didn't believe me just kept saying rodents and would have to have service check the wires. I had no electrical issues or mechanical issues. No signs of any rodent poop or other things that looked chewed or damaged. It was kind of blessing disguise cause they don't deserve a vehicle in mint condition with less than 15,000 miles. I will say I've been going to that dealership for years but that ends today. If the manager just walked to service department, checked the system he would have seen the pics they take of my vehicle, that hole in the hood would have been seen it as well. Even the service guy I deal with , I gave his name , he would have bern able to tell him. I just felt that all these years going to one place and then this is how you get treated. I had a mixed experience, but I absolutely have to highlight two people who made a big difference--Hedes and Donald Roberts. Hedes was amazing. She stayed on top of everything, followed up with me regularly, and kept me updated on promotions. Because of her, I was finally able to upgrade my 2022 GV70 to a 2026. She was patient, professional, and truly cared about helping me--big shoutout to her! Donald in finance was also great. He made sure my husband and I understood everything clearly, which made the process feel easy and comfortable. On the downside, my experience with manager Odell wasn't the best. I went to the Coconut Creek location five times, and even though promises were made, things kept changing once I got there, which was frustrating. I also had an uncomfortable moment at another Genesis location when a salesperson told me I had a "white person credit score" after I shared my score (864). That comment didn't sit right with me at all and felt inappropriate. Overall, Hedes and Donald really saved the experience for me. They are the reason I'm leaving this review. read more

Go elsewhere. Purchased a brand new GV70 in December and have been experiencing squeaky brakes ever since. I was told last appt by the Service Mgr, Mark Evans, that the rotors would be changed as they've had success with other vehicles doing this. We dropped vehicle off on 2/20 only for them to change the brake pads again and not rotors. Not one time was this ever communicated to change pads again which doesn't fix the problem. They lied. Now they'd like for us to bring it back again to try another set of pads. Don't bother calling GM who doesn't call back. We'd like the rotors changed as promised or purchase the vehicle back. We shouldn't have to drive a new car with squeaky brakes. Our new Lexus doesn't do this. We will be working with corporate now as well. But don't waste your time with this dealership. read more

Dominique Dumont a service advisor in the service department was absolutely amazing! He was very courteous, professional and explained in detail everything that I needed to get done to my car. I don't live in the area but visit my parents in this area....I have come to this location because of the customer service that I always receive from Dominique and the Service Manager. Brought my GV80 in for warped brakes, squeaking coming from rear of vehicle, and trim around glove box handle being broken. I purchased the car used with 11k miles on it and brought into them with 16k miles on it. They said they'd resurface the rotors, diagnose the squeaking, and order a new glove box. Service rep, Dominique, constantly told me he'd update me and call back and NEVER did. I'd have to call the dealership for an update and their call center was horrendous. It got to the point where in order for me to get an update, I'd have to show up at the dealership. This wasn't easy for me since I was suffering terribly from back pain. Eventually they gave me my car back and the brakes were extremely rough and making a loud humming noise. They told me the squeaking was because the car was from up north and had an undercoating to prevent rusting. This was nonsense bc that means ever single car north of Georgia would have the same issue. I tried to bring it back a couple weeks later bc the reverse camera stopped working and the other issues still needed fixing. I texted my service manager and he ignored my text...I texted again and he replied to my paragraph long text saying "I'm off today". It was extremely curt and rude. I called the dealership to speak to the manager, Ronnie, and was hung up on over and over again by the call center. I called 18 times in total. One of the times, a man yelled at me and then hung up on. At this point, my back pain turned into debilitating sciatica level 10...and I had no choice but to show up at the dealership again. When I got there, I was in so much pain and so mad at the phone reps, that I got out of the car extremely upset asking to speak to Ronnie. I was definitely yelling and out of line but explained my pain issues and that I was seeing a chiropractor to get relief. The manager eventually calmed me down and told me he'd take care of my car and he'd call me when they had a loaner for me. He texted me a few days later and told me they'd have a loaner in a couple days...later that day, he called me and told me that upper management refused to service my car and I'd need to take it somewhere else. I called corporate who were extremely empathetic to my pain issue and set me up with an appointment and loaner at Rick Case Genesis in Weston, within a week's time. I brought my GV80 there and they said the brakes were resurfaced wrong and would either have to be resurfaced again or replaced. They ordered the glove box and are replacing the old one. They said that the squeak is definitely a drivetrain issue not undercoating. They tried tightening the driveshaft but it did not fix the issue. Their next attempt is removing the axles to see if they're faulty. They also are replacing my reverse camera. The service manager there keeps me updated without me having to call in. They still have my car, but I'm confident that I'll get it back repaired properly. read more

First attempted service for gv80. 7 unreturned phone calls in 8 days to schedule an appointment ... after a complaint to the dealership manager .... Hour before appointment got a voice mail .. no loaner cars!!!! I would have given this place 0 stars if I could have, but I wanted to show some love for the salesman that showed some type of respect towards my family and I. Rian was amazing in terms of trying to get me in the car I wanted. The manager on the other hand was incredible rude and showed his true colors as soon as we decided to walk out the door. Prices advertised are nothing compared to the unrealistic expectations the manager has for USED cars in fair condition. Spend your money where they value it elsewhere. read more

Went back to Coconut Creek to trade my 2023 GV70 that I purchased there a year ago for a 2025 and was met with a completely different experience. My salesman was too busy with a walk in to keep the appointment we made and they were disorganized and confused on their inventory. We leased a GV60 a year ago. It was totalled when someone rear ended it going 50MPH at a stop light. We then leased a GV70 (electric). I researched all the dealerships and we even visited some others in the beginning. Coconut Creek was heads and shoulders above all others. The sales person knew the cars (unlike other dealerships) and they had fabulous inventory. Exactly what we wanted. Many helpful tips when leasing and we got a big EV discount as well (thank-you uncle sam). This dealership was also clean, gorgeous and it was a pleasure doing business with them! When purchasing the car I was promised that if service was needed I would be given a comparable car as a loaner. On November 5 I was told the next available loaner would be December 3. The problem I am having with my car now is the same precursor to when my car would not start and it took almost 2 weeks to fix the problem. With only 1 car in the family I hoped they would get the car in ASAP to try to correct the problem before I get stuck somewhere. The answer I got was if you get stuck call roadside service. I am apprehensive about driving any distance from home in case my car won't start. Other dealerships I have dealt with don't tell me they don't have a loaner they get one from Enterprise or similar. I am sorry that the promise of a loaner when service is needed let me be influenced in choosing a dealership. read more
