If there were an opiton for zero stars that would have been my choice…read more Nothing good to say about Lens Roofing who is now out of business they were DBA RIG Roofing more appropriately named Rigged Roofing. James Curtis owns Rig Roofinging opens shell companies that rip people off and then they go out of business i.e. Lens Roofing. I hired Lens Roofing who was a front for Riggs Roofing. I think Rigged is a good name for this company as my entire roof was rigged. The paperwork I signed says Lens who is now out of business, I am guessing they have a trail of destruction with other customers. When Lens Roofing said the job was complete, the first rain came pouring off the porch into the bathroom door saturating the wall. I took photos of the drywall which I repaired at my expense. I never sent them a bill for the damage. A few days later they had 8 workers show up and spent most of the day on the roof. I thought it must be bad if they had to spend a whole day with 8 workers after they said it was complete. There crew seemed very disjointed. I came home and found five of them sleeping in my garage. The water stopped leaking into the bathroom but continued to pond and puddle on the porch which is flat. I called Lens Roofing 7 times and was told the roof met code and it was fine. They reluctantly had their own inspector come out which said the roof met code. I questioned why they are allowed to hire their own inspector as the consumer is remains vulnerable and unprotected. The water remains on the roof for more than 36 hours. They did not use peel and stick rather a cheaper version. The material they used is not laid down in one piece rather sections of paper that are now peeling up in a various places exposing the wood on the flat porch. They nailed the shingles in too far so that the shingles are coming up and could blow away in the next storm. There was a delivery of material including plywood which they did not use. I came out in the morning, and it was gone. They sent someone out very late at night or early in the morning to collect all their materials which I paid for according to their invoice. I have had 5 independent contractors look at the roof. All said it was faulty and should be replaced. Galloway did a video and narrative which I sent to my attorney Dale Lewis who specializes in roofing defects and Sarasota complaint and licensing board. I have not been able to rent or sell my house as I am still dealing with the roof issues. The roofing contractors said the porch could be leaking now or will leak at some point in the future as the puddling water will rot the wood as the paper is peeling up. I finished the inside of my home this past year which had water damage in several rooms from the hurricane. If the porch starts leaking it will create more repair damage that has been newly renovated.

I was in need of a quote for a roof repair and since this company had good reviews and was nearby…read moreby my zip code I decided to give them a call. There was a quick response as to when they can come out and inspect. I had a gut feeling when the female rep over the phone had asked how old my roof was that they were planning on trying to sell me a whole roof repair quote. But I gave them a chance and have them inspect and take a look. 2 men pulled up on the driveway and introduced themselves. I allowed them to go ahead and inspect. The inspection took awhile so I knew then they were inspecting the whole roof and not only the problem area I addressed only. When they were done with the inspection the sales manager I believe gave me a folder pamphlet with papers and quotas of 2 price point. He gave me a FULL ROOF REPAIR quote. And not a SPOT REPAIR that I anticipated. He mentioned having the insurance come up to cover costs and also perhaps deal with legal action if insurance do not want to cover. He then mentioned he knows a "legal" person to contact if I needed it. That part of the volunteered info in my opinion I knew I need to find another company to deal with my issue. When I asked him - If he can just fix the issue I need to have fixed he blew it off and had no answer. I knew then this company only deal and want FULL ROOF REPAIRS from customers if not they feel its a waste of time I guess. He stated to me he will email the pictures they took of my whole roof so I can show the insurance company. I NEVER received those photos up to this day. They probably perhaps do good roof work via reviews on here however I think they only deal with FULL ROOF REPAIRS and not partial or spot repairs. I got my roof repaired elsewhere.

When my insurance company said the damage was under my deductible, they then gave me a high estimate to pay out of pocket. I ended up having roof replaced out of pocket with another roofer that was way lower then Bob & Jerry's.
