Sip on chlorophyll, water, or hot tea. The Allende massage started with a small tub of hot water to quickly scrub your feet. There's about 4 essential oil scents to choose from for your massage. I opted for the rosemary mint. Norma was professional and thorough. She wasn't overly rough to where I come out more sore than I went in. I left feeling completely relaxed. The women's side is fully equipped with shower essentials, q tips, hairdryers, etc. The steam room was available but the sauna was unfortunately closed during my visit. Gratuity is included but leaving additional tip is there if you received exceptional service.

She also let take a tour of the spa before we went in. Highly recommend to go in early than your appoint to use all the facility. I went about 45 min before and was not enough time to use the steam room, sauna and take a shower before my massage. Male and female facilities are separate so sauna and steam room is two one for male and another for female. If in town this is a must the prices are reasonable if compares to the states about $80 per massage but the quality is the best I've had!!! Also after massage the rooftop restaurant on the fourth floor is not to be missed. You can enjoy a nice sunset with the best view in town!!!

I called, and they were able to get me in...SAME DAY APPOINTMENT!! WOOHOO (I needed it). I scheduled a float session at 5:00 pm (45 minutes) and an infrared sauna session to follow at 6:00 pm (45 minutes). It was my first time floating, and for some reason...I was scared? Thankfully, the staff explained everything to me. I felt at ease in the tank (they have a floating foam headrest, so your face doesn't get wet and your neck stays in perfect alignment!) and earplugs to keep the water out of your ears. It took me a minute to calm down once I closed the lid, but once I did...I was giggling from the inner peace I felt. Completely suspended in the water, every muscle in my body could relax. There was a button to the left of me that allowed me to chose whether I wanted complete darkness or ambient lights. Anytime I got scared, I turned on the lights. When I was calm enough to do the full sensory deprivation...I turned them off. It was nice to feel in control of my environment. I cannot stress this enough, I WAS GIGGLING BY THE END. So happy, so relieved, and stress-free. Afterward, I took a shower and switched to the sauna. Can anyone say, "heat shock proteins?!" It's the best form of heat I've experienced. Your skin doesn't burn because the IR works from the inside (like a microwave but without the harmful radiation!) My hair felt terrific afterward, and they having calming lights in the sauna in case the heat starts to get to you! It wasn't my first time in an IR sauna, and it sure won't be my last. I'll be back at Float Sano ASAP, whether you're on vacation or a resident...I highly recommend this place.
