Chill cafe right next to Lundagård. Their coffee was one of the best I've had in Lund. I wish I had discovered this place earlier.

What I noticed about coffees in Sweden (maybe all of Europe too?), is that there is a thicker layer of foam.

But the food was really great!! You get a little checklist and a pencil and you check off five or eight items and I checked off I believe it was scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage as well as this rhubarb raspberry berry concoction dessert at the end which is tremendously good. The coffee was sublime. Think I also had an espresso-tini, which drive the entire cost up to $50. There was also delicious bread. The whole place had that communal type of vibe that I so enjoy about Danish cafés. I asked one of the staff super- models about the little Danish flags that some of the tables had and her explanation was kind of convoluted, but I believe I understood it. Whenever there's a celebration of any kind - anything from a birthday, to someone starting a new job, to someone having a child, etc., Danes love to have a flag involved! Go here!

Watching the neighborhood locals mingle with baristas and amongst themselves was extra special. Ample seating outdoors as well as multiple areas indoors. We didn't have any food but all of the pastries looked fabulous.

This shop was super close to our Zleep hotel right around the corner. They have a sign that says early bird special and caught my wife's eye that says get a croissant with a purchase of a coffee for only 5 DKK. She mistakenly read it as coffee and croissant for 5DKK but we realize we read the sign wrong or it would be too good to be true haha. It's ok. We went the next morning at 8:45am on a Saturday and this early bird special is only available for one hour from 8:30-9:30 Saturday Sunday or 7:30-8:30 Mon-Fri. Nice coffee shop. Barista was super nice. This place takes credit cards no problem. They have a few selection of pastries. We really like the croissants because they were super hot and fresh. Just baked right out of the oven with a nice fluffy bite into it. If your looking for super fancy latte art, not sure if this place is good at that. They do have a good interior seating and a nice section of outdoor seating as well. A coffee and a croissant came out to be around $5.75 USD for the early bird special is not too bad compared to NYC prices.

One day I tried the latte and the other I ordered plain black coffee because I'm one of those weirdos who does enjoy how coffee tastes by itself, especially if it is quality. Love Coffee Roasters is definitely quality coffee. My mood switches between desiring real coffee (black) and what I call foofoolala coffee (various sugar), and I appreciate a place that can do both well. Thank you, Love Coffee Roasters! Once I stepped into the shop, I was immediately greeted and given time to peruse the menu before making up my mind. The barista had me taken care of in no time, and I headed out onto the beautiful patio to savor the aromas of freshly ground coffee. Mmmm. One time I was even out there alone, much to my personal enjoyment. Just me and the many hanging plants. Neither time did I purchase a snack, as I had been elsewhere for a meal, snacks, or a pastry. (Speaking of pastries, try the cardamom twist at St. Jacob's bakery!) Of course, by the time of my visit each day the baked goods were slim pickings. Much expected. I loved this coffee shop and it's quaint little patio, and will definitely come back next time I visit. Centrally located, catching a coffee here on your way to the Cathedral, University, or the Botanical Gardens is mighty convenient.

It's nice for a coffee in between sightseeing, but the seating is not encouraging you to stay longer than that one coffee. But definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a great coffee.
