My girlfriends and I visited Coffee Man Blandtown for the first time today to participate in their monthly Coffee Cupping. I found out about coffee tasting/cupping on Eventbrite. There was plenty of free parking on the Saturday morning and upon entering, I could smell the fresh coffee roasting and food being prepared. The large menu on the wall with all the choices of specialty drinks and food was so welcoming. The staff made each sandwich description mouthwatering. We checked in and met with one of the owners, Devin, for the coffee cupping experience. We were giving a cup and spoon to taste the freshly brewed coffees. We were offered 8 different kinds of coffees from around the world. I personally enjoyed the light roasted coffee best. It was so floral and smelled amazing. I learned so much about the tasting notes and preparation of coffee from growing seeds to how the coffee shop processes and roasts the beans . Devin was really a great presenter too. Absolutely adorable. Since this spot is in Blandtown I always envisioned it to be a little, well, bland... but it was anything but that. During my visit they were decked out for Christmas, from lights to wreaths to calming Christmas music. There was a bit of a wait, the line was pretty long when I walked in and it took about 20 minutes to order. The women at the counter did apologize for the wait a few times and explained that the chef has called out sick, and there were only two of them working. She reassured everyone that this was not a common occurrence so I'm not concerned about that for the future. I got the iced latte and it wasn't the best I've ever had, but not the worst. The cup it came in was adorable so that definitely helped. Considering the wait to order was so long I figured the wait for the coffee would reflect that, but that was not the case and it came quickly. There's also a lot of seating, including booths, tables, and couches. It was relatively crowded when I was there but at no point were all the seats taken. The parking lot is huge and is free! Do not be discouraged by the ParkMobile signs, you only have to pay after 5pm when they close. They do allow dogs, and have a water bowl inside for them. There is also a small store inside that has a selection of items from local vendors. Super cute idea. read more

There are fundamental things that make a coffee shop amazing, aside from the coffee itself. The impossible to describe character of a coffee shop matters more to guests than many other parameters. It's that feeling that has a guest coming back, without knowing necessarily why. It's the umami of feelings. It's the coziness, the beauty, the timeless modernity, the space, the employees and the visitors. Coffee Man hits the mark across the entire segment of enjoyment. The location in an obscure alley in an industrial building, the space has tall ceilings and an inviting board of drinks cleverly arranged on an entire wall. Small touches like this, instead of a typical menu, that add to that umami mentioned earlier. The space is executed in white and warm tones, contrasting to the industrial interior of what one would presume to have been a warehouse or a factory before. Seats are comfortable and plentiful. The coffee is served in colorful mugs with a spectacular level of attention to the quality. While everyone has a preference when it comes to coffee, Coffee Man does an incredible job making all of their coffee drinks some of the best out there. Coffee Man is a special spot and Blandtown is a lucky part of town to have such a gem. read more

Every time I'm in Atlanta the Coffee Man Blandtown is my first stop. The staff and Baristas are always super friendly, attentive and helpful. My favorite beverage is an oat milk matcha with lavender and sugar cookie cold foam. The options and combinations are endless. While enjoying my drink I love browsing their selection of local businesses. From vintage clothes, to jewelry, candles, their own merch and more. The cafe itself is super cozy and very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I highly recommend this cafe if you would like a good drink and a place to get some work done. read more

I loved coffee man! I got a hot blueberry pancake latte off their seasonal menu as well as the French pretzel. Both were delicious! The latte was on the sweeter side forsure. The staff were very nice. This shop is huge and has plenty of seating options. read more

I think I posted my other Coffeeman review on the Hapeville location because Blandtown didn't have a separate page at the time. Well, I need to shoutout one of my favorite coffee peeps in Atlanta. My husband and I have been huge supporters of Coffeeman before they had a brick and mortar. We loved their story and especially loved their cold brew. Fast forward to the Blandtown store opening, and we have been regular patrons ever since! This is one of the best coffee shops to study in because of the large space, easy parking, and of course, fantastic coffee! I always try to get a unique drink each visit. Sometimes, I just like to keep it simple and get one of their signature cold brews with a hint of cream. So smooth and delicious. Please check them out! You won't be disappointed. read more

This place is so cute and warm! The colors were pink and just fun. I got cold brew as I'm a plain Jane gal but they had tons of flavors. We also ordered the breakfast Sammie and lunch Sammie. Coffee Man is a hidden gem in this city that I recommend to anyone who asks - and people who don't! Great pastries and food options, friendly staff, and above all else, great coffee. Their specialty is definitely their cold brew. No up charge for alternative milk is a great plus for me, and they make all their syrups in house, with seasonal drinks that I get addicted to every time. It's tucked away from the street, but parking is free. There's a little market like area near the front to browse local artists while you wait for your coffee. I ordered a just desserts latte with a ham and Swiss croissant. The staff is super happy and friendly, the food is delicious and super fresh and the drink was absolutely excellent. I wish I would've realized that the drink was an iced coffee, but that is probably on me since it said cold brew. I just wasn't awake enough for that to click. I've been meaning to try this coffee shop for a year and I'm glad I went!! My husband and I were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and had to take a minute to look at the large menu spread in the wall. The barista was patient and helped me choose a syrup! Things that are great about Coffeeman- lots of free parking, nice place to come work or study, variety of menu, nice baristas, artist market and local community supporters Things I wish were better- flavor and quality of coffee. I've been a few times and the drinks have mostly fallen flat for me. I've gotten a few of the more whimsical offerings which to me were not cohesive flavor wise, so this past time I went for a Cortado which is my usual coffee order. (I've had many) typically this would be very espresso focused with just a small amount of steamed milk, but unfortunately mine was mostly milk, completely diluting the flavor of the coffee and becoming more of a latte. I want this place to succeed as it's 5 minutes from my house and they have the makings to be great! Just need to focus on their drinks a little more. read more
