I have visited this shop every year for about ten years and every year I find myself thinking the same slightly negative thought. "still no room to swing a kitten,let alone a cat". The proprietor is very friendly and always seems to have a customer to chat to or passers by to hail . On my visit yesterday I heard him tell several people,while I was browsing,unstacking,balancing and restacking,that he was waiting for two new sets of shelves to arrive. Like myself they mused as to where he would put them! I do love this shop full to the brim with books,photos ,postcards and all types of curios but I find it very frustrating to only be able to see a small percentage of what is on offer simply because I am unable to contort myself or reach far enough to get at much of the stock. There are stairs at the back of the shop similarly stacked with books, old Hornby bits and more besides.Could these lead to an upstairs room that could be used to good effect?
