I have often bought things in the Edinburgh Woollen Mill here, The Works, Holland and Barrett and Thorntons and yesterday was no exception! Other shops include Poundland, TX Maxx, Card Factory, Store Twenty One, F. Hinds and Claire's. I couldn't find the wooden statue of Merlin yesterday which is supposed to stand here perhaps it has been removed for renovation or repair. There are loads and loads of shops in the Quadrant like HMV, Game , W H smiths , Clinton cards and Debenhams. It can get pretty packed out with shoppers at peak times and especially with the run up to christmas. At christmas there is usually a lovely christmas tree with lots of decorations which make it look really nice. The shopping centre always looks clean and tidy and you will always find a cleaner pottering around.

Shops you find in every town in Britain. The Quadrant itself is quite pleasant though, it has a predominently glass roof which allows it to be very bright and airy inside. There's a gallery cafe which looks out on to the main concourse of the shopping centre which is great for people watching. The bus station also comes out of one end, so finding it is very easy, and also you won't have far to carry bags to get a bus. Or even to get to your car if you choose to park in the NCP which also adjoins the Quadrant. You can also get to Swansea Market via an entrance in the Quadrant. The largest store by far is Debehams, which is a large department store and takes up almost an entire wing of its own. ANECDOTE: I was sick on the doors of Debehams one Christmas as I was shopping for presents and very rapidly came down with a virus. There are public toilets (free) upstairs which are clean and well maintained. The buidling is decorated according to the seasons, and a large Christmas tree is the focus during the winter.

Everything is tastefully laid out and very eye-catching and really you need a lot of time to look round properly. There's a great range of Welsh-themed gifts; toys for children of all ages, plastic things for the seaside - colourful beachballs, buckets and spades and more; hats, model cars and lovely framed pictures. I also noticed that they sell 'golliwogs' of many kinds (toys large and small) which you don't see much anymore. Something for every budget, from picture postcards and keyrings to excellent quality china ornaments. The lady who was working in there when I went in to browse three days ago was delightful - very helpful and friendly. Probably the only gift shop you need to visit when in Tenby - altogether, an easy 5 star!

Definitely worth a look - you never know what you might find! It's in the main shopping street, down at the end and not far from the Rolle Quay Car Park.

This is quite a big sized store. It is easy to find what you're looking for in the store as all the…read moreclothes in each age group etc is together. I do find the shop gets quite messy though as when people pick the clothes that are folded up to check the sizes they don't fold them up when they put them back. There are two checkout desks one for when you buy from the male side and one from the female but it doesn't really matter which you use. There is also an information desk by the changing rooms. The people on the counter are normally very helpful. The shop can get very busy especially on a Saturday so you could be queuing at the checkout for a while or to get in the changing room. The shop also gets very hot so if there is a big queue I normally don't end up getting anything. The shop is very cheap though and there are always lots of bargains.
