I recently obtained a crash pad as a flight attendant working out of the NY area airports, however, my permanent address is located in NH, where I reside when I'm not positioning or on call. Many flight crews do this (have a crash pad close to airports) to avoid the long commute. I attempted to explain my living and financial situation, ( didn't even get that far) but was met with an aggressive, abrasive, and argumentative tone by Michelle Kainen. I tried to explain my situation but was cut off and told that I needed to speak with a NY attorney because NYC is my domicile-which isn't true. I spend less than 1/2 the year in NY. Even if she couldn't help me, her demeanor over the phone was disgraceful- so rude! Declaring bankruptcy is humiliating enough, so it doesn't help when you reach out for assistance and its met with a lawyer who appears to enjoy berating people who are already down. I would avoid seeking any legal advise from this law firm, at least from Michelle. What a horrible experience. Steer clear!

He spoke to me for free during the consultation and a couple other meeting afterwards to get everything set in motion. He was very professional, and even went to a hearing when I totally forgot(sorry about that). We had to reschedule it and he didn't seem phased by my mistake. Anyway, he delivered me an A+ product when everything was done and over with. He also went above his duty and gave me an extra with a tax issue I had. I feel that he went beyond his job description and I'd recommend him to everyone I know and anyone who's looking for an attorney dealing with his expertise. As a younger attorney he has the fresh book smarts from being a recent graduate, and he has the edge where older attorneys shy away. Upon returning to college a few months after my tax issue was resolved, I learned from the financial aid office that an outstanding tax bill will not be used against you when file for aid. I should add - I called 4 minutes after our appointment was supposed to start and he 'stepped out of the office' for him to call back about 17 minutes after the meeting was supposed to start while I sat with major anxiety. So if I had gone in person, he wouldn't have even been there. Then, he didn't even listen to my case!! Said something about me wanting a case from 10,000 feet high? No dude, I was born disabled and have been fighting this on my own since 2009 and was referred to this abysmal agency. If I could give ZERO stars I would. They should specify that they only want easy imminent physical disabilities, else they have no time or care.
