There was no attempt from the lawyer and his team to come forward and explain why there is a discrepancy between the signed document and the cheque received (I am not sure if this is even legal) The only explanation I received (after I asked several times) was that there were additional charges. Why and what kind fees I was charged is for them to know and me to find out. Other aspects of their business to be aware of: Final disbursement charges were almost double that the initial estimate (on a regular, no issues- transaction).
