I brought my 1 year old German Shepherd to her with a laundry list of behavioral issues, mainly arising out of no opportunities for socialization and never being left alone due to Covid keeping us at home all the time. He's been home for 2 weeks now and his behavior/obedience is simply night and day. I opted for the 3 week overnight training because I knew he would need at least that much hands on training to permanently correct some of his bad habits. Once I decided to do it, I started dreading the day I dropped him off and worried, worried, worried he was going to be depressed and traumatized and think I had abandoned him. There was none of that, zero. Maureen absolutely loves dogs, not surprisingly, and has at least 4 of her own fur kids, so she's completely empathetic and intuitive when it comes to these concerns and she goes above and beyond to accommodate both you and your pup and communicate with you all along the way. The pictures I posted of Bear are all ones she took and sent me while he was staying with her along with updates on what they were doing and his progress. She is also incredibly detail oriented in everything she does, the facility is absolutely pristine, and she lives on site and watches the pups live on cam all the time! The area where the dog's crates are kept and they sleep has been set up like a home to enable her to train for at home issues like grabbing things off the counter or jumping on furniture. A newly remolded barn serves as another training area, along with several outdoor enclosed play areas/runs, the whole property is just really beautiful. There's not much else to say except if you're on the fence, do it! You and your doggo will be so much happier and you'll get so much more out of your relationship! Do not hesitate to contact her with any questions, she is a true pro, absolutely loves what she does and it shows.

It was exhausting for me at times. My husband thought it was too late to train an almost 7 year old dog but I thought contacting Mona and getting a free demo would not hurt. Boy,was I right! After the demo I knew what I had to do and signed up for dog training lessons. What a difference! Mona has so much knowledge about the dogs, their body language and how to correct the owner during the training process when needed, sending clear signals to the dog so it will not get confused in what is expected of it. This strengthens the bond of the owner with the dog and both are happy with each other. In my case it is really true "You can teach a dog new tricks and obedience. I am enjoying my life with my dog so much now and am looking forward to training my future dog. The owner and their four-legged companion both win with SIT UP N LISTEN!

I rescued a lovely 6 year old male Portuguese Water Dog who had somehow gotten away from his previous owners and was found wandering around the North Georgia Mountains. I was keen to make sure that the same thing didn't happen again since my new buddy clearly had strong instincts to chase things. He also had no idea that a human was on the other end of his leash and would drag me into his chase with the squirrels too. After just 2 weeks with Mona, my dog was happier, more confident, and wonderfully obedient. And I'm happier as a result too. I am no longer being pulled to and fro and he can walk by a squirrel without going completely nuts. The progress she made with him in such a short time was nothing short of miraculous! I am forever grateful to Mona for her patience, insight, skill, knowledge, kindness and most of all for the love she shared with my new best friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Mona!

Over the past year, she has become increasingly more protective and sometimes aggressive toward other dogs, including my extended family's dogs. It was to the point that I was considering rehoming her. It was breaking my heart. I decided to launch a Hail Mary pass and started researching dog trainers in my area who specialize in dog aggression and I stumbled across Joyce. She has been our savior. Emmie is my third healer and I really felt that I understood this breed. I have had several trainers with my other dogs but Joyce completely changed my understanding of dog behavior and training. She dispelled many myths that I believed were true. Today my dog is a different dog. My family is blown away. She rarely shows aggression toward other dogs and she is able to play and interact with other dogs without showing anxiety, fear or aggression. Although she has very strong herding instincts, which can often be misinterpreted as aggression even by her owner , Joyce has taught me how to redirect her. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, it is obvious that she truly cares about dogs and their well-being. I am truly grateful for the difference that she has made in both of our lives! I will never again consider rehoming Em. I highly recommend Joyce to anyone who needs assistance with training issues. In a perfect world she would be on retainer! I feel very lucky and privileged to have just a little bit of her knowledge and experience.

I rescued him from a dog shelter, and I worried that he would feel abandoned once again, but after my first 1 on 1 training all my worries were put to rest. Merlin looked truly happy and seemed to really enjoy training with Wes, kind of like a good game of fetch. Watching Wes train Merlin, I could see the bond that was built in just one week. What I observed and loved about my experienced: * This training is filled with love and respect on both sides - dog and trainer. * Wes must love his job. He invests so much time into training each dog. Just like a schoolteacher, it must be a calling and he's not in it for the money. * He took time to explain all my questions and time to train me on how I can do better. I never felt like I was on a time clock. * Wes worked on my dog's individual needs, not just an expected obedience list. * After every session, I left uplifted and optimistic with the feeling that a non-reactive, well-behaved pup was in my future. Previous trainings that I tried, I would often leave the session feeling frustrated close to tears wondering if we would ever get it right. Sending my dog to K9 Justice has been the best decision and well worth every penny. If you are considering hiring a trainer, I highly recommend using K9 Justice.
