Went here today for a little treat with friends and had a great time. We were the only people in the store so that was fun too. The woman working was friendly and fast! We had 6 orders and she cranked them out quickly so no littles were stuck waiting for too long. She mixed them up perfectly and took her time making sure the ice cream would fit into the size we ordered. All mix ins were blended up so that each bite had a little bit of everything we added. His concoction was not something I would've chosen (French vanilla ice cream with apple pie filling and raspberries) but he loved it and that's all that matters. The two girls working the counter were friendly, and the tables inside were clean. They did have a lot to offer in the freezer, which made me really want to try their ice cream tacos. My family and I went at 8:45 to get some ice cream. The hours online said they closed at 10. When we got there, there was a sign that said they closed at 9. Okay fine, we planned on getting our ice cream and leaving. When we entered, we were told by an employee that they wouldn't serve us because it was too close to closing time and the line was already too long and we needed to leave. A family sitting outside told us that the employee had been doing that all night and had been really rude about it. He was apparently kicking people out who had been waiting in line 10 minutes or longer. And now I'm telling my two year old, who went inside and saw the ice cream, that we can't have any right now Side note, there was a sign on the counter that said, "we are short staffed. Please be patient and nice." Are you short staff because you have rude management? If you're requesting your customers to be nice, I would expect the same from the employees. read more

I came in and they were very welcoming. They helped me decide what to get and it was very good. The perfect amount and they even filled it up a little more. The lady that checked me out was very sweet and helped me get all my ice creams in a bag and get lids. My experience was very good and I feel it's the way you treat the people working to recieve the good customer service! I would recommend coming here the experience, and very tasty ice cream. What a great time we had! We went to celebrate my birthday and the birthday of Cold Stone. We received a coupon for a deal and my wife ended up winning free ice cream for a year! The staff was super friendly and made the visit fun. We had to put a couple of dollars into the tip jar to hear them sing. We enjoyed our visit. I will say that it is a little pricey on the caramel apple side of things so we stuck to ice cream. I used to work at Westroads Mall when Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory opened and I remember getting apples on many occasions, but I was single then and only buying one apple. Not the most cost effective for a family. The apples are big enough to share, however, I have a stubborn 7 year old that makes agreeing and sharing hard sometimes. I would still definitely recommend going to give them a try. even if you don't win prizes it's good stuff. read more

My family is in love with Cold Stone! We've been driving to the far side of town to enjoy it. Now we have our own in the Papio-LaVista area! This is a great spot to enjoy a movie or dinner then sneak in for ice cream. The service is great and it's usually pretty fast (sometimes it seems like you even get a little extra!) Why not five stars? Cuz the seating needs help (i.e., not enough and not stable...tighten it up!) And the servers are so busy mixing that the tables are generally not wiped down with rando dirty napkins left behind. If this trend is fixed (have never seen an adult manager working), this location would earn a fifth star! read more

This place is a ripoff. I spent 32.00 for three kid cones that was placed in a dish of ice cream. 5.89 for the ice cream and.99 for the cone placed on top of the ice cream. I also ordered a signature waffle cone and was charged 7.39 for the ice cream and a 1.29 for the cone. The service was horrible when asked why it was so expensive for three kids cone the kid could not tell me the reason. I specifically asked if they had kid cone's because I had three small kids with me and the girl told me yes I wasn't expecting to spend 32.00 then the kid had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip. I'm sorry but I think it's rude to ask someone to tip especially when they are questioning the amount of the bill and I am sorry but I don't tip for service that is poor. We bought apple pie apples, when we cut into it the entire inside was brown so I called right away. Omaha is a great place to visit, but the best part of our trip was a fun visit to Cold Stone Creamery with her volleyball team. So appreciative that this Cold Stone Creamery chose to sponsor the National Homeschool Volleyball Tournament. The support of youth sports is honorable. This store is clean, organized, full of fun people and if course the ice cream is wonderful! The addition of Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory with chocolates and caramel apples is especially tempting. Huge location with a Rocky Mountain chocolate shop inside. Chalkboard with daily specials. Yesterday was get 2 like it's size for $6 but sadly I was just checking it out after a movie. Employee was super cheery and eager to answer all questions about vegan sugar free and sorbet offerings I sampled the Lemon Pie which was OMG amazing !!! It's only a spring limited time offer so I will return for that many many times. Employee said any cakes can be make with any flavor. I have only been there once, but the experience was great. Staff was very nice and helpful. The ice cream was great! I ordered some sort of vanilla, hot fudge, brownie mash up (I don't remember the name right now but it has almonds on the menu which I requested they not add), but will definitely be back to try more of their menu items.
