UPDATE (approximately 1.5 years later): We recently used Cari Ann Carter again for the purchase of a lot. This was a bit spontaneous and Cari Ann is a pit bull when it comes to advocating for you. We were able to put in an offer Sunday, get a counteroffer Monday and secure the property on Tuesday. She was INSTRUMENTAL in making this happen quickly and is the best negotiator ever! She set reasonable expectations for us, which we really appreciated, and was very open in feedback along the entire way. More importantly, she is a DO-er! I have come to conclude that the folks at 10K, especially Kelly S., have zero interest in preserving good relationships with their tenants, and have come to own our two building complex for the sole purpose of collecting our rents. They are completely unresponsive to tenant concerns or inquiries; they use their own failures and disorganization to justify extreme actions taken against their tenants; and they fail to communicate even the most basic of information regarding things like an upcoming routine inspection, making the tenants' failure to anticipate such an inspection into a big drama to hide the fact that even the most basic communication can avoid most misunderstandings. I had thought no management company could be worse than when I rented from Housing Hub. But 10K is really trying to take home the title of worst landlord with whom this renter has ever had the displeasure of entering into a lease agreement.
