Diligent insurance has been absolutely awful to work with these last few weeks which I hate writing…read morea bad review but this place has been a pain in our side after our mother's death. I personally referred my mom and dad to them because Katherine was so amazing to work with... we have been dealing with the guy in the office and the other lady. So my mom passed away VERY unexpectedly May 7th, i personally was handling all her finance stuff because this of course hit her husband my dad VERY hard. I completely forgot to call the insurance until they with drawn close to $400 out of my moms bank account then I called to let them know hey my mom passed away May 7th and that money you just pulled we were using that to pay for her lot rent since our family had to come out of pocket for her funeral. First I spoke with the woman and she told me she would call me back, she did asking me if my moms vehicle was being driven I let her know no it was not that I needed them to cancel the policy and put the money back in her account. Didn't hear back I called and spoke with the guy, he was VERY disrespectful trying to make it like we need to keep the policy and I kept telling him no the auto is not being driven we have no idea what we are going to even be doing with it quite yet and we need that money put back. He told me he would call back no call. Then I called or she called finally I can't remember spoke with the lady again, I let her know it is illegal to pull money out of the bank account of a someone that is no longer here and the money needs to be refunded, then she went into executive of state let her know that my dad her husband is still here she told me he isn't on the policy.. I told her it doesn't matter legally he handles everything because legally they are still married and then she told me she had to talk to him. So he called and spoke with the guy and once again was VERY disrespectful to my dad, my dad asked him when he would hear something because they have been giving us the hardest time and he very rudely said when I hear something. Then in the mean time my dad gets a $500 bill from them smh. I think even after all this the girl was like oh and I'm sorry about her death. They have not been very helpful at all to make this process easy for us and it's very disappointing to say the least. So here we are still waiting for an answer, we don't know if they have canceled the policy, we don't know if the car still is insured and they took money out of a woman's account that is no longer with us that they will not refund, how disgusting!

Upon noticing that my rate went up substantially after a small fender bender costing only 2800…read moredollars I went to the office and approached the lady at the second desk who appeared to be very overworked and asked why my rates were raised for only one small fender bender after shuffling thru several different excuses it was apparent that it was because of the fender bender when I stated such the lady proceed to raise her voice higher and seem to be upset at my findings I politely thanked her and left It's my money and I think I have the right to know why someone is charging more for there services Also I think it is horrible that Farm bureau raises your rate after one small fender bender I have been with them for years with no claims I am now a liberty mutual customer where I am treated with respect and might I add at a far better price than the above company
