We carried full…read morehouse refurbishment, extensions and loft conversions for the past 10 year...basically we know what we are taking about. We wanted to post this review to WARN anyone thinking about using A-Klass Carpentry and Joinery LTD services. The owner of this company is named Carl. We have used him a number of times over the years in an attempt to build relationships and every time we have tried with him he has let us down... on timings, causing delays and extra costs frustration for ourselves and our clients. He is an outright liar, he will makes promises he doesn't keep. His staff are often unskilled, unreliable, lazy, messy leaving used materials and lunchtime food containers all around their work space, and they often don't turn up to do the work. When they do finally attend site they are unprofessional in their manner and in how they go about their business. The work is often left not finalised and requires additional visits (which never happen or can take weeks, if not months to action) to fix and secure the poor workmanship (staircases in particular.) He often has to under take a second or third visit...so be WARNED. His project management skills are poor at best and he's often impossible to get on the phone when something needs amending, or additional work. He a likeable personality but don't let that fool you he cannot be trusted to deliver work from start to finish. If we could have given no stars we would, use at your peril and extreme frustration. Please note we were not a one time customer and he had good reasons to take care of us, too secure future work and his service was terrible, terrible, terrible.
