However, with being a full-time student amongst other things, I don't have the means or time to do my own work like I use to. Which leads me into my review. I've had a bad experience with another "reputable" shop here in Starkville so I've been skeptical about shops in the area. However, A+ Auto is my now go-to shop for any and all repairs. I came in with a laundry list of things that needed to be checked and/or repaired on my truck. Not only were they friendly and made me feel like a valued customer the moment I stepped in the shop, they also were very prompt and responsive to any inquiries I made while they were performing the repairs. No vague answers about timeline to completion and what needed to be done. I dropped off my truck at 11:00 and they got back to me with all maintenance/repairs needed no later than 3:00 the same day. The gave me a very fair price on the total work done. Bonus points to them for getting the work done in an expeditious manner and having the truck ready for pick-up by 3:00Pm the next day. I came in knowing I had a gasket leak in my oil pan, and they found and fixed the issue as well as let me know of the other issues they found affecting my car so I could choose to fix them as well (I did). His behavior was the epitome of unprofessionalism and condescension. From the start, Terry repeatedly cut my sentences, refusing to let me speak fully. He addressed me with an intolerable air of superiority, deliberately speaking down to me as though I lacked basic intelligence or understanding of my own inquiry. This relentless interruption even carried over into the simple task of taking down my address on a form. While my immediate instinct was to walk out, I chose to maintain my composure to avoid escalation and because of my tight schedule. What made the experience truly egregious was observing Terry's interactions with others while I waited for my vehicle. He treated every other patron with genuine kindness and grace, yet reserved an explicitly bitter, hostile demeanor solely for me. If there was any saving grace, it was the rest of the staff, who were significantly more welcoming. In particular, I am incredibly grateful to the technician who serviced my vehicle and spoke with me after this incident; his professionalism and courtesy represent exactly how one should conduct themselves in a customer-facing role. I was immediately helped and given a set date when the car would be ready, which is incredibly helpful with a busy schedule. Though the car was finished one day late, I was informed ahead of time. Great communication. I had an additional problem with the car (was not caused by the accident, and not their fault) and took it back in for a re-evaluation. They promptly took the car back to look at it, and fully explained to me (and showed me) the problem going on, and some courses of action at no extra cost. In my eyes, they are an outstanding team. The quality of the work was borderline immaculate. The fender assembly is all fixed up/replaced and the paint blending was far better than I thought it would turn out. It makes sense why Advanced Collision has grown so large. The school (MSU) does bring in more business, but their customer service and care for their job really sets them apart from the rest of the auto repair world.
