She's a very beautiful soul. Dr. Thacker's communication technique is quite blunt & rude. She told me she'd fix a botched knee when I "book my appointment to have the s*** microneedled out of my face." Consult- I was left alone after being told to "put my big girl panties on" becos I had anxiety.. after having numbing cream left on my lips sitting in a room alone for 1 hour & then painful injections without being given any options! I ended up with 2 botched indentions where the needles were on my upper lips & my lips didn't look any different. The office manager ended up reaching out & told me we would have it fixed. She lied. Lol Thacker was throwing subtle criticism constantly & even did a SURGERY INBETWEEN FIXING THEM. Luckily this isn't the streets. The office manager told me if she didn't have before & after pictures then I probably should've went somewhere else. Now they are putting up pictures of clients. This place is ran so unethically. My lips LOOK exactly the same, it was close to $500 with no option of them keeping a syringe. The solution was so simple & they made this insanely complicated & unethical. Brandi should've been fired after she lied about sending my check for a military discount they owed me. She didn't even reply to my email about it. 2 1/2 months later. THANK YOU, Candice for your empathy & kindness towards your patients. GO GET YOUR FILLERS FROM MERRIMAN. SHE LET'S YOU SAVE THE SYRINGES TO GET THEM REDONE. THACKER DOESN'T GIVE ANY OPTIONS. Healthsource offers a range of services like the obvious medical care, Botox, b12 shots, physicals, etc. I've never once had an unfriendly encounter at this place. The staff is so attentive and personable. They take time with you and communicate well. They usually give follow up calls to make sure you're doing well after any sort of medical visit you may have. It's a clean and relaxing facility that takes walk ins or appointments.

The last straw was this week. I called on Monday to make an appointment and after giving my id information was told that I had been dropped as a patient with the doctor since I hadn't had an appointment for 2+ years. (Is it my fault that I'm healthy?) And then I was told I couldn't sign back up with the same doctor since he was no longer taking patients. So, that's enough of this stupid crap with Valdosta Medical Clinic. I found a different health care provider. If you enjoy dealing with staff incompetence, Valdosta Medical Clinic is the place for your health care needs. If you want less drama in your life, find a different healthcare provider.
