I gave them a call just now and was put in touch with Sonya (spelling?), their lead paralegal. She was familiar with the closing process and told me that they'd simply need a copy of the contract and information on the lender involved. When I inquired about the length of time it would take, she explained that it would depend on a number of different factors, the biggest one being whether or not the land was tax separately or part of a larger parcel. If it was part of a larger parcel, they'd need to engage a surveyor to create parcels, register them with the county, etc. She apologized for giving me too much information, but it was really appreciated. Thank you, Sonya, for being so thorough and pleasant to speak with!

This was important to us because we had to make all the arrangements from out of state and and needed everything to go smoothly as we traveled from Utah to our new home in North Carolina. Jonathan was very personable (and accommodating-we brought all four kids to the closing) and the decor in his office super fun. The whole experience was very memorable and we love our new house! I would recommend this office to anyone closing on a property in North Carolina.

If you ever find yourself needing a lawyer, Mr. Jackson is the one you want in your corner. I've…read moreworked with him three different times for criminal defense, and every time he has shown the same level of professionalism, honesty, and dedication. What I appreciate most about Mr. Jackson is that he is very real with you. He doesn't talk over your head or leave you confused. He takes the time to clearly explain everything so you understand what's going on and what to expect. That meant a lot to me, especially during stressful situations. When we went to court, he stood by me and made sure no one tried to bully or intimidate me. He truly fights for his clients and makes sure your voice is heard. Another thing that really meant a lot to me was the support I received from both him and his wife during a difficult time in my life. They showed genuine care and compassion, which is something you don't always see. After working with him multiple times, I can honestly say he is one of the best attorneys I know. If you need someone who will stand up for you, guide you through the process, and fight for you like no other, I highly, highly, highly recommend Mr. Jayme Jackson.

Three weeks after…read morewe closed we began to get foreclosure notices on the house due to a past lien from the previous owner. In panic, we contacted our lawyer at WWLG and she assured us that she would handle everything. I had a very hard time getting her to return my phone calls and emails. And when I did reach her, she stated that she was handling everything and we would not loose the house. We continued to get foreclosure notices and our new house was to be foreclosed on in less then 2 weeks. No response from her. I contacted her partner who also said they were handling it with no other info. I finally called our Title Insurance company who halted the foreclosure immediately. The title insurance company had to sue my lawyer to cover the lien. My advice, always have title insurance and don't use Western Wake Law Group.
