It is fairly big and has a good range of stock, including some good organic/fairtrade products. I've found that my basket is about the same price as what I have previously spent at Leichhardt/Broadway Coles - some things are cheaper, others slightly more expensive. However! If you hold a Seniors card, they offer 5% off every Wednesday ***If you're not a Senior, I recommend avoiding Wednesday**** PLUS they offer 10% off your groceries (over $100) on the first Thursday of the month. Still can't quite get everything I want from here, but almost :) AND you don't have to listen to that awful new "prices are down" jingle that Coles uses to lure you into thinking that shopping with them is cheap!

The range is very extensive - I think as good as a Coles or Woolworths. But even though they have some great specials, you will pay more overall. Fruit and veg seem to be the main offenders on price, except for the specials. If you can, go on the first Thursday of the month for the 10% off special. It's well worth it!

I think they have 2 active, maybe 3, and they run like a well-oiled machine. Aldi have cracked the supermarket sudoku, by implementing the checkout trifecta: 1. The checkouter is seated. 2. They've done away with bags. 3. They utilise a multi-scan system. Can you feel that warm fuzzy? You are doing the planet a solid; whilst doing your fellow man a favour; and saving yourself some precious time. I watched as the smiling checkouter used his arm like a hockey stick to send 8 puck-like cans of identical cat food flying through the scanner at once. None of this individual *beep* -wait- *beep* -wait- *beep* crap, he just sidearmed that stuff straight through and was on to the next items... that is some sweet timeology right there! The no-bag thing is inspired. Unlike Woolies and Coles who have had this ongoing "we'll do away with bags eventually" broken promise, Aldi just stepped up to the plate as a competitor and said "We don't do bags, bring your own". It's that kind of brass balls that makes me respect this place. If this thing was on the ground floor and the size of the other 2 players, they'd both be out of business.

The supermarket has been recently refurnished, and the items are usually up to stock. I would recommend the supermarket, expect for some grumpy staff.

The business is busy and quick with a range of foods that is just like any other Coles store. The cakes are fresh and quickly sold. I couldn't believe there were Hot Cross Buns on sale today, I haven't finished my Christmas cake yet. At least there were chocolate chip hot cross buns! yum. This Sunday I filled 2 of the absolute essentials I could get and will shop at the rival tomorrow for the other 6 or more. I doubt with this management whether any other days are better. The shelves were either empty or nearly empty. Good priced white peaches:- two mangy ones left and anyway they only had room for one box. Bananas were all over-ripe. Various egg varieties out of stock. Deli looked good and well-stocked. Frozen chips - two packs of McCains left. Car parking was pretty easy but I think that was because at 4:00 PM most of the vultures had left. Even overcharged at the checkout for two items when I only had one. I couldn't be bothered to complain as there was a queue at that desk. The manager of that store clearly doesn't give (...) for customers who (s)he believes should be serviced in the old rural sense of the word. Sorry Yelp but why don't you allow a zero star rating?

All parts are nice n shiny and all produce is fresh and the staff are nice n shinny too. Its a pleasure going to this Woolies when I want to try a new recipe just running in and out because its not in a shopping centre so just park and your in.
