So we visited Kilmanhaim Gaol across the street and came here to grab a bite and a pint. I love…read morethe interior of this place. I had a good Guinness and a shot of Red Breast 12 year. Also had fish and chips for lunch. It came with smashed peas! It was great. It came out really hot. Fish and chips were crispy and good. The service was good but a little slow. I think it was still early and there were enough people working at that time. But the server was very sweet and friendly.

Yes! La Dolce Vita!…read more Cozy and welcoming family owned restaurant. We visited 3 times during our stay in Dublin. That's how much we loved it. The presentation of the food is spectacular. Even something simple like garlic bread was beautifully displayed. The food in itself is incredibly tasty. We only came here once for lunch. They offer a great lunch special for €10.95. It includes a 2 course meal. I love the cheesy garlic bread. I enjoyed everything I tried, but I think the penne carbonara was my favorite. It was so creamy. I wanted to drink the sauce. Their Caesar salad is delightful, the homemade dressing is divine. Desserts are scrumptious and purely decadent The Nutella brownie is a must have. The restaurant is small. When it's busy it can feel cramped. It's perfect any social situation like a romantic date, a business meeting or a big family gathering. 5 stars. Beautiful food, cordial service, and pleasant ambiance.

Always popular, ring a head if you can, and always good, this restaurant is a great local Italian…read more It is part of a chain of Little Caesars around Dublin and has been open for over 10 years now and is quite popular with families as it has a child friendly atmosphere, as in it is not really posh or full of couples trying to have a romantic meal together, it has a cool, relaxed vibe. Wine menu offers a good affordable and drinkable selection, available by the glass as well as the bottle, house wine is very palatable in my opinion, unlike the muck they serve in some places! Pastas are pretty standard, but I am not a big pasta fan to start off with! There is a good selection of pizza with some interesting topping choices. As a starter meatballs in tomato sauce are very tasty and the salmon is melt in the mouth.

Suppli to start which is a favourite of mine, served with garlic sauce and a salad, and a main of a creamy pasta dish which I devoured. My companion had a meatball started followed by pizza, and when he couldn't finish his main they wrapped it up for him to take away, something I really feel more places should offer. A total highlight was the cheap as chips wine! €4 for a glass of house white and it was damn tasty too! It would be a great place for groups with a split dining room, and is very suitable for families, there were quite a few there on my visit and all looked happy!
