I wanted an European Italian meal while in Dublin and this made my trip! I have been jonesing for some legit Spaghetti Carbonara after my trip to Rome and this didn't disappoint. The little things like the garlic bread from the wood fired oven and the desert was a pistachio white chocolate Carmel cake - yeah good as it sounds! Excellent wait staff and chose the perfect bottle of wine to tie the whole meal together! I will get enough of fish n chips on this trip so was glad to divert dinner to have a legit Italian meal. read more

We were out walking in the rain when it hit the corner of my eye as soon as I walked inside I was seated without a wait and the food came very quickly we first ordered the arancini which was pretty good but I don't think I would need to order it again then we ordered the Djuda and it had a kick but it was very good we ordered the bolognese which was amazing we also got the tomato carbonara which I thought had a slightly plasticky aftertaste and lastly we ordered the mushroom ravioli and it was amazing we licked the bowl clean and for dessert we got the tiramisu which was decent but the strawberry cheesecake was the best cheesecake I have ever had overall this was an absolutely amazing dinner/experience I will definitely be coming back! read more

Amazing hidden gem! Found this while walking through temple area and it was packed so we knew it was probably good. The service was awesome, loved all the servers and their recommendations! Had a spritz with 7up and arancini to start. One large arancini ball came in the appy order in a bed of tomato sauce, decent but I would skip and get the focaccia or Italian salad next time. Pizza djuda was great (with a kick). They do half portions of pasta (which I love, you can try more items!)! Ravioli cheese truffle was outstanding!! Bolognese and the tomato version of carbonara are good but the ravioli was the show stopper. Desserts served in jars (a bit trifle like) Good tiramisu but also got the strawberry cheesecake which was outstanding!! Overall solid meal and would definitely return! read more

I felt this place has a lot of potential. A cooking school, crowded and a lot of real Italian vibe to it. Plus with the high rating I decided why not? After we were seated by the door, we were constantly greeted with the choking smell of cigarettes by people standing out front of the open door smoking. I can't eat around smokers since it ruins the experience. It also took us over 1 hour to get our food, mind you it was just 4 of us. I received my food to scarf it down. It was so bland that not enough shaved mozzarella or cracked pepper could save it. I was starving, so it didn't matter. When it came to paying we told them the amount and put this half on one card and the other on this card. They overcharged us at least €5. If I were in town again I wouldn't be back. Had dinner here last night, early on a quiet Wednesday and really enjoyed it. Was looking for some decent pasta authentic pasta and wasn't disappointed. We had bruschetta pomodoro and arancini to start. Bruschetta was delicious and oozed garlic in a good way. The arancini was the best I've| had, light, crispy, delicious - not greasy or gloopy at all. Tasty Marinara sauce went great with it. For mains the Arrabiatta was great - fresh tasting, perfectly cooked penne. The Diavola pizza was super tasty too. Bit disappointed they were out of Chianti at the time, but I really liked the Merlot we got instead although my dinner partner didn't particularly like it - but she's not to be trusted with red wine anyway ;) Will come back next time I want pasta in town. read more

My friends and I had just finished touring ChristChurch Cathedral and were super hungry. This place was exactly what we needed. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara with a side salad. We also split a margarita pizza. The spaghetti carbonara was incredibly rich and had big pieces of prosciutto. The sauce was screaming with flavor. The side salad had lots of fresh veggies and was pretty tasty. One of my friends order the lasagna and if every bite. The other friend ordered the chicken stuffed with homemade stuffing. He said it was incredible. My buddy's wife ordered a large salad and ate it all as well. They were all apparently very good. Our waitresses name was Maria. She was extremely helpful and gave us good suggestions of things that she likes best on the menu. First time here since the place opened. Location is nice and perfectly located, however I have negative comments. First of all, any of the staff is Italian. Not enough choice of pizzas according to me, good options for wines both red and whites. The pizza I ordered was big and ok, nothing special but my friends were disappointed as some ingredients were missing on their pizzas.. They forgot olives and other things. Came across this wonderful quaint Italian spot while staying at an Airbnb in Temple Bar. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I have multiple food allergies and very much appreciated that their menu labeled all major allergens (they don't seem to use egg in their pastas so at least a couple were vegan). We ordered two of their specials - minestrone soup and the bruschetta. Everything tasted extremely fresh and I appreciated that they didn't use dairy, cheese, etc. unnecessarily. I ordered the penne all'arrabbiata as my entree and I have to say that this is one of the best tomato sauces that I have ever tasted! The dish was perfectly seasoned, the tomatoes had a great flavor, and it was not salty or too heavy. Portion sizes are large so you should have enough to take away. We came here two nights in a row - the second night was a Thursday and it was a bit noisy as half the restaurant is an Italian cooking school but, of course, you don't come to Temple Bar for quiet. Would definitely recommend this place and I'd come back on my next visit to Dublin. read more

We went to have a lunch at Pinocchio few weeks ago. The whole experience was dreadful. The parmigiana we had for starter was tasteless, swimming in a boiling tomato sauce; it had been probably heated up in the microwave far too long. Then, my boyfriend had a pizza and he was sick for the rest of the day after eating it. I grew up in Italy and regrettably this is far away from being authentic Italian food. read more
