She was told by the woman that she could return it for a refund if it did not fit. She paid $166 for the dress. After coming home and trying it on, she did not like the way it fit. She returned to the store on August 26th, 2018 to return the dress. As soon as she walked in the store, the woman was rude to her. My wife asked if she remembered her and the lady stated "I don't want to remember you" and then said to the woman she was next to, "I hate when people come in to return things" After my wife explained that she was there 1 week ago and was told by her that if it didn't fit she could return it, the woman acknowledged remembering her and yelled at my wife and called her a "fuc--ng assh-le. She would not put the credit back on my wife's credit card. Eventually she wrote a check to my wife while continuing to be rude and demeaning to her. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We will NEVER shop here again and neither will any of our friends or relatives. I am surprised this place is still in business if this is how they treat their customers. I am hoping this woman was just having a bad day and that she is not this angry all the time.

If you want to dress like everyone else, Alchemy Creative Clothing is not for you. But if you're…read moreinterested in unusual and very attractive clothing, jewelry, and accessories, you should definitely stop in at Alchemy in Frenchtown, NJ. The clothing is selected with an eye to unique fabrics, unusual dying or printing techniques, and interesting construction. The garments at Alchemy are not something you'll find at mall stores. So when you wear something from Alchemy you won't see it on 15 other women at the next party, family event, or even at work tomorrow. They also sell interesting jewelry and accessories, all chosen with a great eye for unique, attractive pieces. Frenchtown is a great little Delaware River town with some other interesting stores, cafés, and a walking trail along the Delaware. It's a terriffic destination for a weekend drive--and you have to stop in to see Alchemy's merchandise when you are there!

HORRIBLE. I don't know what happened to this Ann Taylor. I came here a couple months ago, and…read moreexperienced the best service and staff. Attentive and kind. When I came in the other day, I experience the complete opposite. No one greeted my sister and I, at any point, nor did anyone offer to start a dressing room for us after 10 minutes of shopping and clearly struggling to hold the clothes I wanted to try on. Finally, I had to ask twice for a dressing room. The cashier was so nasty the entire time, and was complaining from the moment we walked in the door to the other employee about a large return order she had to complete. It looked like she just didn't want to do the return, and was avoiding it and all her other duties. Finally, when I went to pay, I had the most degrading and rude experience in my life at a high end clothing store. I'm 22 years old, spending over $200 on a suit is a big deal for me, and since I had such a great experience at this Ann Taylor store before, I expected the service to match the product again. I put my clothes on the counter and she roughly snatched them - I was honestly nervous she was going to pull a thread. Didn't even fold nicely. When I simply asked "do you still do student discounts?" She snapped "no," and then backtracked "not on sale items." Confused, because three months ago they honored student discounts on sale items, I replied "oh can you help me understand that further? I was here a couple months ago and the gentleman even asked me if I was a student before paying because they have the discount." This seemed to annoy her and make her mad that she had to put in additional effort to answer my question. "There are no male employees that work here." I nicely let her know that a few months ago there was, he was the manager, and very very kind. To this, she snaps "I can get out the handbook and u can read it yourself"...she said this SO angrily. "No, it's ok, I was just trying to understand" I said. She smirked. I walked out feeling dejected, embarrassed, and regretting that I spent money at a place where I was treated so lowly and rudely. Just horrible customer service. This employee needs to go. Ann Taylor, please feel free to contact me about this horrendous experience I had at your store. I'm still upset about this.
