He fixed in 15. Minutes . This week, over a month later I get a bill from Countyside for really not doing a thing for $146. Something they ne er said they would charge up front for looking at. When I do need a new water heater I will buy somewhere else !

Sad customer service I called today 09/26/24 to discuss a hot water heater they installed. I called countryside as they were who I trusted to install the hot water heater. I spoke with some gal and explained to her that we are smelling gas from the hot water tank she said ok put me on hold for 10min.... She comes back to say that they can't send anyone out til Monday I told her that was BS and that it's a gas leak they can send someone now. She then sends me to Mike I then explain to him the same thing and that it's bullshit to have to wait til Monday for a gas leak he then laughs at me and says if I swear again he is going to end the call I ended up getting furious with him said some words and ended the call for him hey Mike what if this was your home with children you gonna wait til Monday POS So I reached out to another company who will be here in 30 minutes not days I do not recommend this company they over charge for everything and there customer service is shit you mean a lot to them until the sale is done not the way you do business Update Xcel came out and for your company's information I have had a gas leak at the water heater control valve for almost a year now thank you for your quality install and putting my family at risk we are now done with this company we don't take playing with our lives lightly They say a faulty part from manufacture or could it have been one to many turns at the time of install and was cracked And coincidentally my wife's business had same issue we tried this business several times and now we're moving on I appreciate the phone call though trying to get me to remove my review but maybe if you guys didn't treat a gas leak as a laughing matter I would been a little easier

Bethel Plumbing and Scott are my heroes for being able to come out the same day…read more Earlier that day, Centennial Utility came out at 2:00pm to change the battery on the water meter. I was told it was a free repair. While the technicians changed it out, they discovered that the main valve before the water meter was original to the house from 1942; water was leaking and I needed to get a plumber. As a result, Centennial Utility shut off the water to the house and despite my plea, Centennial Utility cannot turn on the water without the valve being fixed due to liability issues. As I mentioned, it was late in the afternoon. I called several plumbers to come out, but everyone said, "we can squeeze you in tomorrow." (I cannot go without water - I need it for cooking, drinking, and hygiene care.) When I Googled for a list of plumbers near my area, Bethel Plumbing came up as a new business that is about a year old with over thirty 5-star-reviews. I called, explained my situation, the woman took down my information and said she would pass my information to the plumber. Within less than 5 minutes, Scott, the plumber, called me and said he could be at my house in 45 minutes. He arrived at my house as he stated on the phone. I was impressed before I could ask if he had shoe covers, he pulled one out. Overall, he was nice and professional. He assessed the problem, gave me a quote for $579. It is a little high from what Centennial Utility said it might cost to replace the main valve, but for last-minute situation, I paid it to have running water. Unfortunately, he did have the piece needed on-hand so he drove in traffic, possibly after hours to get the part. He came back and completed the task and then showed my husband and I his work. He used the key provided by Centennial Utility to verify his work and we finally have water again. Overall, friendly, professional, and skillful. I would definitely recommend Bethel Plumbing.

I decided to use a smaller local company instead of the larger companies to keep the money in the…read morecommunity. The reviews were all very positive so I opted to have Scott do the install of the new water heater I was quoted a flat rat of $4826 for a new water heater to include installation and new venting to meet codes. Only when the job was completed did I received an email breaking down the costs. I then found out $3880 was to remove the old unit and replumb the new unit. I did some checking and found that exact water heater retailed at $1190 at Home Depot. That meant they charged $1690 for installation including the plumbing parts consisting of approx 7' of copper water pipe and one new shut off valve two couplings to secure inlet and outlet to the heater. They then charged me an additional $975 to run 30 feet 2" PCV pipe that met the newer code. That cost at Home Depot was $8 per 10' section and several 90° elbows Time for their service at my house for the completion was about 4-5 hours. That puts the labor cost at about $2600 give or take. I know they have overhead and business expenses but I feel their labor cost were way out of line and I would not be recommending them with those labor costs. P.S. When asked for a breakdown of parts and labor Scott said it was a flat rate. No indication of separate labor and parts until the job was completed and the invoice was Emailed to me upon completion. I feel I can not recommend them even though they were professional, prompt and knowledgeable.
