After connecting with my Uber driver, he said that Coliseum would be the best option close to the airport. So I trusted him on that. The selection is decent and the owner was extremely friendly. Unlike many of the ABC stores we have in NC, Coliseum Liquors had an array of miniature bottles and many brands that I hadn't seen before. This is a convenient location and they have a large variety. (Like $1 mini bottles of good stuff!) The guy who runs it is incredibly helpful. He helped me prepare for the bachelorette party weekend I was going to be hosting. (He also has a cute adorable little dog that hangs out at the store with him. This is always my first stop after arriving at the Charleston International Airport to load up on liquor and wine for my stay (it's literally 2-3 minutes away). Coincidentally, it's generally my last stop before heading home. Due to the 100+ selection of mini bottles for only $.99 (let's face it who wants to pay $8.00 dollars for a cocktail on the plane)! I went by this liquor store yesterday when I saw the "We sell wine" sign. The employee was very friendly, and helpful. I grabbed a bottle of rosé and he offered to see if they had one already chilled, and they did! They have a nice variety of liquors and wines, and the store was very well organized.
