Absolutely love this shop. I'm an avid consignment shopper and this shop is my Number 1 place for finding clothes, shoes, and accessories in a convenient, nicely designed space. I recently lost a good deal of weight and have found many Items as part of my new wardrobe. Sue is friendly, helpful, and really takes the time to get to know her customers. Her care for the business is even evident in the dressing rooms, which are spotless (like the rest of the store), and nicely decorated. I've also been a consigned here as well and found it to be a good relationship. Prices are fair; Sue gives you a detailed receipt of items consigned; and payment is made in a timely manner. Today was my first visit at The Closet Shop and I will definitely be back. I was delighted to see that the shop had many of my favorite name brands offered. The owner Kelly does a terrific job in what she selects for inventory. I scored an adorable Lularoe Carly dress new with tags along with some fantastic all leather sandals. Kelly was extremely helpful in explaining their process for consignment. The items throughout the store are displayed well and you never know what treasures you'll find. Wow. I have never written a review of ANYTHING in my life. I am only on Yelp to find restaurants, busineses, stores, etc. to patronize. However, after visiting this business I felt the need to write a review. I only wish there was a zero star option. I found this shop and was excited to check it out based on some Facebook posts that seemed to indicate it supports many of the causes I wholeheartedly believe in...BLM, LGBTQ, woman owned, etc. I had recently purged my closet and had many fabulous finds to consign so off I went. Upon ariving I approached the counter to ask the woman working there how things worked there. There was absolutely NO ONE in the store at the time yet I was met with a rude, bitchy attitude as if I was bothering her. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. I have NEVER been treated in such a manner in my life at a business that I assume, relies on people such as myself to make a profit. Well, hey nasty, miserable lady, I went to Plato's Closet right after your crappy shop and walked out with $175. So much for trying to support a woman owned local business. FYI - If you are having a bad day, stay home and get your sh*t together, don't go to work and take it out on innocent humans. read more

I love this store - I always find cool vintage items and some really nice designer pieces. I think the new owner - Susan - is always really nice; I feel like I had to leave a good review and defend her. I was in the store shopping (there were 3 other people) the day "Melissa Karen" came in. I heard the whole conversation. That review isn't even close to what happened; "MKaren" is upset because she was told no. If you claim to support women - why would you leave a review like this? What was your reason - to try and destroy a small business trying to survive during the pandemic - just because your entitled self was told "I'm sorry we require an appointment" ... hardly the behavior of a woman who proports to supports other women!!! For someone who aligns with so many social justice movements - why would you conflate who this store supports with their store policies? It saddens me that I have to give this store such a poor review but never in my life have I been treated so rudely at a store as I was here. I have been a patron of this store for about 6 months and have bought several items. I work within walking distance and I often visit it on my lunch break. Today, I was trying to find some sweaters, since it's getting cold, and I received a phone call from by bank about a fraud alert. I had to take the call but I kept shopping, trying to narrow down the items I wanted. The woman working, who may be the owner, asked me to leave the store because she was "trying to focus." She literally wasn't ringing anyone up or doing anything. So, no sweaters for me, since obviously dealing with a bank fraud alert is more important than shopping, I left. I was honestly shocked. I hate it because that store was close to home and work but I would never support a place that treats their customers so rudely. Shop there if you want- just don't take any calls! Or probably don't have a conversation with another person you're with, because that's literally the same amount of noise I was making. :( read more

I love this resale shop! They have a great collection of designers, from Nine West to Lilly Pulitzer. They have a wide array of styles and sizes, and very chic dressing rooms. The women who work there are friendly and are very passionate about fashion and accessories. read more

This is the most open store I have ever experienced. Kelly is so nice and she hires equally nice assistants. Cat is especially nice. Everybody is knowledgeable. And, the clothing selection is excellent and the prices are fantastic. Very comfy place! I'd give it six stars if I could! read more
