All I asked for was a tow but luckily the driver had time to spare so he offered to swap out my recently deceased battery for a new one. I don't know if they normally do that or if it was just a slow day for them. But either way, I appreciated it. It saved me all the hassle (and time) of being towed to another body shop (not Peterson's) approved by my tow program, and coordinate the rental car since I was on a tight travel deadline for work and needed to be 200 miles north of my dead car by the end of the day. (And then having the rental car people pick me up, take me back 15 miles to their shop, and get all set up with a car. All that jazz.) Instead, they swapped out my battery for me and had me back on the road, with my own car and the money that I would have spent on a rental car, within about an hour. And every single person involved with Peterson's that I interacted with was very friendly, helpful, and were really concerned about making sure I was back on the road ASAP. Big thanks to these guys. I hope my car never breaks down near Big Lake again, but if it does, I will definitely call these guys.

No regard for customer safety regarding the pandemic…read more So arrogant and unconcerned that when going into a business that requires masks, they did not wear them. A tow truck driver, and a man who said he was the owner, both were not wearing mask. This took place in a busy gas station/convenience store. Employee safety, customer safety and the safety of their community does not seem to be their priority or concern when it comes the pandemic. Anyone who is concerned about the spread of Covid or those who are in the high risk category, I suggest calling someone else for a tow. Disobeying the Minnesota state mandate makes one wonder what other mandates, safety protocols and laws they could be ignoring.

My son borrowed a friends car and went out of the city, got lost and broke down. He luckily was able to get a ride to his apartment from the Sheriff but his recollections of where the car was left were absolutely horrible. Luke from Yeller Towing was beyond patient and helpful in trying to and finally locating the car after two attempts. Luke stayed in touch the entire time and was absolutely amazing in helping us. After 40 years of being in the area, he knew the roads well and his guy found the car and towed it in same day within a short period of time! His pricing was upfront and HONEST! Beyond that it was affordable (almost unheard of) Everyone else that I called gave me quotes that were astronomical and d$#@ near asked for blood, first born and my tax refund. None of them even knew the exact location of the car, they quoted from one city to the next instead. One guy even quoted 500 bucks stating that he had to use his flat bed and it was far. WHAT?!
