I want to retract my review of this company. I was SO IMPRESSED!! But, in my cost (close to $10k)…read moreit stated my chain linked fence would be taken down and replaced back in PROPER place. When the guys returned to pick up the huge brush pile, their removeal of fence and their replacement of it was pathetic. I have dogs (they knew this). The chain link fence post holding the two panels 1) wasn't even hammered back into ground 2) there is now at least a 2-3 inch gap at the bottom that can easily be pushed so is of NO USE. The top of the chain link was attatched (two sections mind you) by two hooks that they haphazard "rigged". Due to health issues (a broken foot) i was unable to CK the fence but thought it would be great given their professionism. I was WRONG. I've sent multiple emails, calls and texts to owner Ed Sheffey and Bo Rowan since the beginning of Nov. with NOT EVEN A WORD in response. Everything I previously stated I retract. Any company (esp one you've done $$$ business with) should respond to ANY inquiry. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & TAKING RESP FOR THEIR WORK. I (who am on a very limited income but was fortunate to have some funds, due to my Father's passing, for household repairs.) NOW will have to spend MORE MONEY to replace / repair my chain link fence that was in excellent condition with no holes, gaps etc.. No response is unacceptable with the amt of money you have to spend for tree removal and for the end result to be shoddy, inconsiderate and ignored. I would give NO STARS if I could. I do NOT appreciate a company taking my money, mangling my fenced area for my dogs (which they had knowledge) and having NO RESPECT or CONSIDERATION for their customer. Pathetic. Do not let them lie to you about their great, Veteran service because 1) there is no respect for their customer and 2) any follow up or questions or ANYTHING - after THEY DEEM JOB COMPLETED- will be IGNORED. In my exp this indicates that they acknowledge their mistake but do not give a damn to either speak to their customer about it or to repair the damage THEY caused and guarenteed. DO NOT be fooled by their bs. I'm so, so disappointed.

I was referred to Tried and True Roofing from a business that I had previously done business with. I contacted Phillip Oliver and he came by that day to measure, and gave me an estimate before he left. He was 25% of the cost of the next closest estimate, AND he was responsive thoughout! With his estimate being so low, one would be wary of the quality of workmanship. Since the business that recomended him is top notch, I had few reservations. Admittedly, much of the work that was estimated by others was unnecessary. Within 3 weeks of my first contact, my repair was COMPLETE! Phillip and his crew were professional, prompt, dedicated, hard working, efficient, and completed the work in a day and a half! They did a great job with cleanup too. He requires no money up front, and offers 100% satisfaction. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Coulter Berry made an appointment in 2 days and did a complete job. After taking tree down, him and his coworker hauled off all the limbs and trunk and did a complete cleanup of yard in one day. We had them come to bring trees down that were leaning over our house. They did that, but caused a…read morehuge divot in our driveway which they took off $100 for. Then, we had them build a retaining wall and they made divots with the machine in our driveway as well. We were leaving and paid them for the job thinking it would be finished that day. Well, they get 4 bells of hay and lay them on the bank, don't finish the wall, and are supposed to bring a load of gravel for the back part of the driveway they dug up. It took them a month to come back to lay the gravel. The still didn't finish the wall at this point. I call them and ask them when it will be finished and what the plan was with the bells of hay. He tells me the city "made" him buy them but not to spread it.... Makes sense. Then he says he will be here Friday (today). He sends his dad today to finish the wall and my husband texts him asking him not to let whoever was doing it throw the excess block over the bank. Well, they did. My husband calls to ask him why and he says "we didn't do that". My husband had spent the entire day before cleaning out what they dumped during the project. When he was told that, he hung up the phone on my husband. It was clear that once they got their money they did NOT care about finishing the job. Very disappointing considering we waited a month for them to finish and spent a LARGE amount of money and this is how the owner decides to treat us.

Gabe offered me the best value and plan of action for the job. Gabe and his crew up at my house on the scheduled day and proceeded to take down 8 trees that threatened my house & outbuildings. Gabe has a bucket truck and a wood chipper. The trees were all cut into manageable size pieces for firewood and all the small debris was chipped into the truck. I still need to stack all the firewood but my boys will help with that.

We called them, and…read morealthough their day was already booked with jobs, they came right away before starting their schedule and took care it. 25 minuites after we called, the driveway was cleared, the wood was cut and stacked, and we had scheduled for them to come back at their convenience to trim other problem branches from the tree. They came back at the end of the day and completed all the trimming! The prices for both jobs were more than fair, and the work was of a very high quality. We won't use any other company in the future: we've found the best!

Ernest came out to give me an estimate on four dead Ash trees that were angled toward my house on a steep hill. His estimate was very fair, and he demonstrated a high level of expertise. Better yet, once I accepted his bid, he and his team were out the same day to remove the trees. What impressed me even more was their willingness to go above and beyond. While they were here, they pruned several trees that badly needed it and even removed another tree leaning over my house at no extra charge, just to be helpful.
