We are new to this area, we lived in a different state and are used to a higher level of veterinary care than this facility apparently. If you love your pet, do not take them here for the low cost spay neuter option! Last week I took my cat to get spayed and I'm not sure why I didn't listen to my gut when I had an uneasy feeling about leaving her here. Because it is a low cost type of operation, it's apparent that they cut corners at the expense of the benefit of the pet. They used a gut stitch in my cats wound which was meant to hold all three layers of tissue together rather than suturing each individual layer. The lady at the front desk told me I really needed to get an e-collar because they have had a lot of cases where the cats have come back and ended up dying or needing to be euthanized because they pulled their stitches out and their guts fell out. That is a direct quote! Why that did not make me run for the door, I don't know. I trusted the reviews online. That ended up being a lie too. I posted this exact same review on their Facebook page and they deleted it because they didn't want the truth to be out there. Nothing I said was untrue and I have a receipt to prove it. Regardless, I trusted the reviews and thought maybe they had a different technique that I was just not accustomed to. I have had many cats and never once have had to get external stitches for spay that required a return visit to remove them. I was a little stunned that this information because I was not even aware that technique existed. After a couple of days my cat's tummy begin getting irritated because apparently this type of stitch is highly reactive to the skin, which encourages irritation. The lower stitch got pulled out and it was gaping and seeping. With the type of stitch that they used, and the fact that no underlying stitches had been made to secure the under layers of her musculature, there was nothing protecting her. She began acting lethargic and shaky because she had a fever. I knew that I needed to get her checked out immediately but I refused to take her back to the same vet who put her in this condition to begin with. And yes for anyone wondering I got her a cone, and inflatable collar, and she still managed to get a stitch out. The stitches were cheap and encouraging her skin to break out and get irritated. I took her down the road to Guardian Animal Hospital and that doctor saved her life. She gave her a shot of antibiotics, pain medicine, Betadine wash, and had to staple her belly. And she removed the ill performed stitches. She was like a brand new cat! For every cat that I have ever owned I have taken them to a low-cost spay and neuter clinic. However not all low cost centers are the same. I have had wonderfully perfect results with the other facilities I have taken my cat's to. However, they have been an other states with higher regulations. This surgery was a hack job. They cut corners used irritating stitches and did a quick wound closure as opposed to a thorough more safe technique. And to my previous point about the lady telling me that the cats guts could fall out, if this has happened so many times that you have to warn your patients owners about this, that would be a clue they need to rethink their technique procedure! Also I have a relatively small cat, and they charged me an extra $30 because she was considered obese. That is such a ripoff and excuse to make more money. I have never had a vet charge me extra because my cat was obese, especially when my cat is not obese! When I asked why it was charged and why they consider her obese the lady giggled and said you'll have to ask the doctor. I do not trust this facility for low-cost spay and neuter.. if you love your pet you would not either. read more

Our Sweet Puppy passed due to Vet mess up. We were told our Pup had allergies, then it was she needed fixed then it was liver and kidney failure , Our Sweet baby Girl passed away and the girl that brought Her body in the room to Us was just smiling from ear to ear, Our Fur Baby was still gasping for air, tounge hanging out and all and We had to watch that. The office manager said She had extended all the medical help and told Us to bring Her in and they would give Her a shot to make Her eat, Our Fur Baby was alive in the waiting room and dead within 5 min of them taking Her back. They wanted to charge us 1,100 dollars but they did not do anything to help Her. We were in and out of there for 2 weeks while I was going through kidney surgery myself with one false diagnosis , and yes we had a wellness check for her at the start of the 2 weeks of hell they put us through. then with in days My Husband comes down with covid and while I'm healing and He's in the hospital for 15 days someone from there sends us a card about how Our Babys death was "Our Descision" and they just wont stop , I guess they will leave me alone when Im dead because they dont care about anything but money and lies, We are not getting another Furbaby until We move to another area because We do not want to get in the position of having to use them for a vet. I have cried every day for 3 months now because of having to see My Fur babay fight for Her life and loose the battle and taking Her last breath right in front of My Face. Dr. Abbott is an amazing vet and very attentive. The office manager, Meghan, however could use a course in business management and etiquette, as well as care required for dogs. When you pay $1000+ for care, you don't expect to pick up a dog covered in feces, urine, and vomit as well as a matted coat. I called the office and attempted to speak with her about this issue-and after assuring her I wanted no money off any bills or anything like that, she remained defensive and very rude. She was very dismissive, spoke over me and said there was nothing she could do to resolve the issue. She then complained about the hours that her staff had to work to care for our animals, when that is exactly what they were being paid to do. When you call daily to check on an animal and are told every time that they are doing well and fine, you assume just that. Dogs have accidents everyday but a doodle requires more upkeep, and any dog with long hair that repeatedly lays in their own mess will become matted. Keep in mind this is an animal who is completely house and crate trained and hasn't had any accidents in over a year! Bathing today wasn't the issue-it's the prolonged exposure to feces and urine. Even just a heads up that he would need groomed when we picked him up would have sufficed. We were paying for bathing today but due to work schedules had to pick up early and assured the office staff the bathing wasn't an issue. We most certainly won't allow them to take care of our animals ever again, and I don't recommend it for anyone else either. Our other dogs were fine and seemed happy when we picked them up, but this is absolutely unacceptable. I only called to alert her to the issue so it wouldn't happen to another animal in the future-and even said that to her. The veterinary care is outstanding, but she was so dismissive and rude, I won't take my pets there anymore. I am only posting so others don't have a similar experience. My husband and I would highly recommend this clinic for all your pets' needs. Within the last two years, three of our four dogs were spaded at the clinic. We were pleasantly surprised how well our dogs recovered from the operation as well as the courtesy call the day after surgery, checking on their condition. We would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants the best care for their four-legged companions! We've use the clinic a couple of times in an emergency situation and the medical attention our dog received gave him a full recovery! Don't know why there aren't any reviews of this place! They treated my girls like their own, they gained my trust completely. They won't take you for a financial ride with unnecessary procedures and treatments. My little kitty had some major dental work done and I'm so thankful for the comfort care they provided after her oral surgery. My girls loved the goody bag the clinic gives to new patents. This is the only animal clinic I will take my furchildren to. read more
