Living here... I wish I can say better but sad to say not…read more It's really sad to read the comments as they are not lying. I got lucky as I live in a "newer-looking" building. When I moved here I was promised a working pool and safe grounds. I have seen the other buildings compared to mines and it's sad that they do NOT look like the pictures posted on the site or on instagram( which is not updated). The leasing office is the only thing updated. I have had to replace my own faucets, have a mold company test my bathroom for mold due to Poor maintaince prior to me Moving into my unit. The only reason I have a star is because of the school district. I pay $50 per month to park my car due to the still Broken light in the entry that does not come On until 8-9pm a s safety concerns. The intercom does not work (still) and the laundry room dryers have yet to be serviced( after now having a increase in the price and low water pressure) Yet we are still charged amenity fees for no amenity. overall, my only concern regarding this apartment complex is the lack of evidence that shows the pictures displayed on the website. Those pictures are not true and the apartments do not match the pictures facilitated on the website the fees and the price gouging is ridiculous but a lot of us still call this place home. This apartment complex feels like a project in the middle of a very nice community and neighborhood. There's only one way in and one way out which often times feels like a prison. I'm not sure if the corporate office or the actual T.I. community is aware that all of the Apartments buildings in this community do not look the same as pictured but It's fine time that they really see where their money is going in this community because it is not fairly distributed amongst the property or us Tenants :(......

Everything is wrong:…read more -Scenic Tree is NOT Green Oaks. Green Oaks has the gym and pool Scenic Tree does not & no, Scenic Tree residents can't use those amenities. -Paying for resident, visitor, & handicap parking even though there is so much space ($50/ car per year and $2.50 for passes per car per day). -Storage unit is literally a chain link fence that they charge $25/month for and stuff ALWAYS gets damaged/stolen. -Laundry rooms never get cleaned and I do mean never. You also have to go to the office with cash to use the machine to put money on your laundry card. There are times where the machine is down ( no notice) or the washer or dryer is broken (YOU have to download the outside company app when this happens to file a complaint. Scenic Tree/Mathin Reality Services LLC. Will just tell you to call them) yet the prices continue to increase. 1 load is $5.25 -Mold and water damaged hallway walls and storage "room" (they fixed the mold damage in storage unit area but it took at least 6 months of complaints before someone went down and stopped the water that was coming out of the ceiling from a broken pipe. So much was destroyed while waiting though. Bikes, ac units, camping equipment....) -expired fire extinguishers (they've fixed this but it took about 4 months) -unsalted sidewalks in winter while cracked & uneven ones in the summer (hope you don't have a physical disability because you WILL fall) -Exterior doors that don't lock for more then 2 months at a time -Office closes at random times so late fees/car tows happen often. They also never answer the phone. I'd wager to guess it's because there is only one woman in there -Air conditioner does not cool off bedrooms because it's too small/doesn't have enough power.

This is place is not a good place to live at all. Management is so bad. Nobody answers your calls…read moreor returns them & if they do it's literally days to weeks later. The girl , Rosio or whatever her name may be, she doesn't relay messages to the landlord & screens calls. The washer machines are DISGUSTING and overpriced. Also, things break pretty easily here, cheap material used. Parking policy is very unacceptable. I would not recommend living here or even seeking to live here at all. I truly wished someone had the chance to tell me before I did move here.

This complex gives the impression that it was once a wonderful place, but it was left to rot with…read morelittle to no maintenance. It's very run down, the parking lot, and the roads around it, are full of potholes. Even the leasing office was run down, and it looks like it may have once been an event or social space, but they just tossed some desks and tables in there and called it an office, and it sticks of stale sweat, likely from the gym downstairs. When it got to viewing the actual unit - The complex's own website (not an ad on a third-party site) advertised that they had several units available for move-in that day. The leasing agent said that was wrong, and while they had vacancies, and I could apply for those apartments, there wouldn't be anything actually available for six weeks - the only reason I drove down there was that they had apartments available now. The entryway to the unit was dirty and dingey - the mailboxes had layers, upon layers of peeling tape and mis-matched name labels; the hallway was dimly lit, and the tile looked like it had probably been due for replacement for quite a few years and had no luster left in it. In one of the advertisements that showed one of the laundry rooms, there were soot marks on the wall like some bored teen had taken a lighter to it (the fact that they didn't clean that for the advertising photos should hint to the level of care given here), and sure enough, those same soot marks were still on the wall when I viewed it in person. When it came to the actual unit, it was fairly nice. In the bathroom there was no medicine cabinet, shelves, or other storage aside from the under-sink cabinet, and the only outlet was a few feet behind you when standing at the mirror, which would make it awkward for using a hair dryer or charging a shaver without running an extension cord. Keeping in mind this is the "model" unit, the paint in the bathroom showed blistering and sagging, indicating the presence of water leaks inside the walls. They also don't mention in the ads that NO UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED. The agent mentioned something about the complex paying for half the gas and water, as there was no water heater in the unit, I don't think that the units are actually set up for individual metering, I think they just divvy up the complex's (or maybe building's) total bill amongst the residents with no regard to your individual usage. If you have other options, I'd suggest taking them.

There was…read morenothing above normal wear and torn (not even that), I have 4 eyewitnesses and pictures that could prove that this apartment was left in good condition, but they refuse to return my security deposit and had the nerve to create a balance due. The management of this company makes outlandish, fabricated issues to generate an invoice in order to keep your security deposit. First of all, they did not do a walkthrough nor where they present or available the day I moved out. I have not ever had a problem retrieving my security deposit once I move out of an apartment. Once I spoke to management, they had the audacity to insinuate it was not up to part and stated it should be in the condition it was given to me, I'm thinking such as ready to rent to the next tenant so they could move right in, totally absurd. Let's not get started on the mold, I would have never moved there if I knew what I know now.
