I put my claim in from my insurance app, and all appointments were made for me. When I got here at 9AM. The very nice lady already knew I would be coming. Paper work was ready to be signed. A call to worker to look at my car, and all was checked in before the rental arrived. Impressed is an understatement. I picked & and trusted this place based on the 4.5 starts they have in YELP. The lobby / waiting room is very nice and clean, welcoming and inviting. From what I see, this office is moving smoothly by two ladies in the office. "Woman power" The bright lights really make the place look great. So this will have several updates to it as the process of getting my car repair works out. Day 1 check-in process, they get 5 stars . Day 2. The insurance company did the appraisal and approval for the work to be done. When you want it total, they fix it. If you want it fixed, they total it. Lol. I am told it will take about 15 days. I will wait until this Thursday to go by the auto body place and get an update on it personally. At that time, it will have been 10 days. And believe me. I miss my car. Lol

Unfortunately, my experience with Victory Subaru has completely destroyed that confidence. My vehicle developed a check engine light related to the catalytic converter system. Victory Subaru diagnosed the issue and replaced the catalytic converter. Less than a year later, the exact same problem returned. When I sought a second opinion from another Subaru dealership, I was informed that the catalytic converter installed by Victory Subaru was faulty and needed to be replaced. Think about that for a moment. I paid a Subaru dealership to diagnose the problem. I trusted them to install the correct part. The same issue returned, and another Subaru dealership determined the replacement part itself had failed. Yet instead of taking responsibility, I was left to fight for answers while being told I was just outside the warranty period. What makes this even more frustrating is that Victory Subaru's own records show they cleared the code and sent me on my way without resolving the underlying issue. I spent months dealing with recurring check engine lights, uncertainty about my vehicle's reliability, and conflicting information between Subaru dealerships. The most disappointing part is Subaru of America. Rather than standing behind a repair performed within their own dealer network, they essentially left me on my own. My household owns two Crosstreks, and we were considering a third Subaru for our teenage son. After this experience, that is no longer happening. Mistakes happen. Parts fail. What separates a good company from a bad one is how they handle those situations. Victory Subaru and Subaru of America had multiple opportunities to make this right and instead chose excuses, delays, and finger-pointing. I am no longer a Subaru customer, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering Victory Subaru to think carefully before trusting them with major repairs. One star.

Frankly, I'm probably so picky that I would hate to have me as a customer. I had a local paintless dent repair guy recommend Foreign Specialities, swearing they are the best body shop in NJ. He also advised me not to be thrown off by the name as they work on all makes of cars (including domestics). In the end, I couldn't be more impressed with the work Foreign Specialities did! Despite being a difficult repair that required (as I understood it) cutting and welding a new quarter panel (since it's part of the unibody), removing the rear window, replacing the door, and doing paintless dent repair on the fender, the repair is absolutely flawless. Even knowing where everything was repaired, I can't see a single imperfection, and the paint color and blending is impeccable. It's truly like it never happened. I'd say it's more of a restoration than a repair. Doug was also a pleasure to deal with and took the time to answer all my questions. Can't recommend this shop enough!
