I brought my 12 week old to CW in September of 2018. At first I was okay with her being there because it seemed like they were SO on top of things. As time went on, it just declined. My biggest complaint is that they did not change my daughter enough. Their policy is a new diaper every 2 hours. Some days I would pick her up and she would only have been changed 3 times in an 8 hour span. They didn't even follow their own policy. It got to the point that I had them change her once an hour unless she was sleeping. They did that for a little while then went back to crap. Nicole, in the infant room, was extremely nice. My husband did not care for the management. One of the employees passed away and they closed the entire daycare. They texted us with 3 hours notice in a Thursday that they would be closed on a Friday. The contract I signed, listed the days they would close. This was a personal decision. Not only did they close, but they charged me for that day! We finally decided to pull our daughter out when the state revoked their license due to an incense that of 4 one year olds leaving the building. When looking for a preschool for my son I heard wonderful things about color wheel. When I went on my tour I was very disappointed. The class rooms are small and they put two teachers in there and break it up into smaller classes, with basically the same toys. So two play kitchens, two reading areas... So it takes an already small room and breaks it up to an even smaller room and then they cram a bunch of stuff in the smaller areas. It was so cluttered. I did like the fact of how tight security seemed to be with requiring a finger scanner for pick ups. read more

Parents---please do not subject your precious children to the unprofessional and negligence that our family member experienced. They lost our year old child and was not able to locate him for over 15 minutes. We have no idea how long he was missing before his mother arrived to pick him up that day. When he was found he was sitting in the corner in a dark room. The police were notified and there is a police report on this incident. The person that was suppose to be watching him was fired after this incident as she should have been. This put a target on the back of our toddler and his mother heard one of the administrators tell his teacher to write him up for everything they could to get him kicked out. He was picked on by the teachers who also made racial comments about him. He was kicked out last week because his mother doesn't stop and chit chat with the teacher when she picks him up. That is no way to run a facility that is suppose to be dedicated to providing love and attention to your in your absence. I hope that no other child should have to experience what our toddler did. This place should not be in the business of nurturing young children. Interesting that their license has been revoked because 4 one year olds were able to escape recently. I will have to say that choosing a daycare/learning center was one of the hardest decisions that my wife and I had to make... in the same breath-I can also tell you that choosing The Color Wheel was the absolute best! Both of our children now attend St. John primary and do very well. I truly believe that The Color Wheel had them prepared 120%. I've also had several teachers comment on how well the students that come from Color Wheel are prepared. I just decided to open up a Yelp account to comment on some exceptional service that I had with a dealership in Baton Rouge and thought that it was a long time overdue to let every everyone know how great The Color Wheel is. read more
