Buses arrived on schedule (as promised) and guests made it to the wedding and back to the hotel safely and in comfort. Bribe, groom, and other remaining younger guest...those who closed out the event...kept the last driver waiting a bit. Glad to see that he was patient and understanding about it. I just had the absolute most rude interaction I've ever had in a professional encounter. We inquired about pricing for an event, the quote amount changed, and when we asked about the discrepancy the owner Ryan responded to my employee using derogatory terms and threatening legal action when we had zero signed agreement or had even verbally booked. I called him to inquire further about his behavior which resulted in him screaming at me from the top of his lungs. I never post any reviews anywhere but decided this should be a PSA to NOT hire this guy. And if anyone is wondering if it's made up I have both email and recorded proof of our conversations. They flaked day of party and never called. I had to track them down 1 hour into my party. I had 50+ people and no music. So disappointing.

The prices are cheap and the workers and owner were nice and responsive! The owner always immediately answered his phone or responded within minutes. However, the company is a little disorganized. I was accidentally charged twice. In addition, instead of getting a classic limo party bus, we got a school bus with the seats removed and replaced with a long booth around the edge of the bus with strobe lights and music. The music was loud and the lights were bright! The only real difference was it was without poles and the windows weren't dim. read more

We had the worst experience with Colorado Mobile Music. We decided to have Colorado Mobile Music be apart of our wedding, never again will I recommend them to anyone and I hope you think twice before hiring them as well. Before the wedding Ryan gave us a good deal on a party bus and photobooth combo, we should have realized right then it was too good to be true. We had the photobooth from 6PM to 10PM. The goal was while the bride and groom took pictures the wedding guests could take pictures in the photobooth in the cocktail area. We find out they set up in the back of the reception hall in a corner and the doors only opened for the hall at 7:30. So our guests just waited around while the photobooth just sat there for a good 3 hours. You'd think they would have moved it outside for the guests to use during cocktail hour, but they didn't. Oh and charges us an hour for setting up, so at this point the photobooth has been there for 3/4 hours unused. After our wedding we decided to call Ryan and try and figure out what happened. That was an experience in itself. Not only was he just rude he had no compassion for the fact that NO ONE used the photobooth. We were hoping for an genuine apology at the very least, but rather we got was "So what now?". We finally got no where with the call so we asked Ryan to send us the pictures and also had to send an email reminder and finally he sent us the photobooth pictures. A total of 10 pictures were taken; our wedding had 420 people. Please don't waste your money and emotion on this company!! read more

We used this service for transportation recently to a school event. I would not recommend. We had two separate groups going to the same event. Each booked separately with two separate pickup addresses and names but were going to the same place. Despite making two bookings, paying two deposits, and clarifying the night before that there were two parties, one of the parties was completely forgotten. He was not answering his phone day of. Finally, when got a hold of him he ran and got a bus that was smaller than booked for the 2nd party and they arrived late to the event. The buses were not as advertised. Had trouble getting music set up and driver was uninterested in assisting. On the way home, the music stopped working and despite us asking to fix it he said "we are almost there" and just put on the radio. This was advertised as a party bus so we assumed things like music and enjoyment on the bus would be somewhat of a priority. Grumpy drivers. If you're trying to order a party bus through this company, don't. We were promised in our contract that we would be receiving a 40 person, inward facing PARTY BUS, but when the bus arrived, it was in fact a white school bus with LED strip lights. Overall, we made the best of our experience, (considering this was our Senior High School Homecoming) but we were not given what we were told. We payed near $2,000 for this bus. What we were told happened by the driver: the bus we ordered wasn't near ready at all. When Ryan informed about the bus, he told the driver , (without calling us and making sure we were ok with the change) that we were ok with the school bus. The bus driver was so sweet, and offered us a ride next week, on the bus we ordered, she made it as fun as possible for us. Moral off the story: DONT GIVE RYAN ANY OF YOUR MONEY. read more

do not use this service unless you want to ruin your entire night. i repeat this is the biggest rip off in the denver area. i had set up a party bus to red rocks for my girlfriends birthday and after paying an $800 invoice, the bus forgot to pick us us up to take us to the show. after many phone calls to the owner ryan, he finally found someone to come get us. the new driver was an hour and a half late for pickup. then the bus the new driver picked us up in was a jenky 16 person school bus with a broken sound system. i had purchased a deluxe bus for 24 people. this was not the bus i paid for and half of my group had to uber because the new bus could not fit all of us after we waited around 90 minutes. the driver pulled over on the side of the highway twice to try and fix the broken sound system after we pleaded with him to just continue driving. we all sat in silence it was a horrible experience do not do not use this service. ryan did not even refund me my full amount rather he offered me a 'discount' on the service. avoid at all costs read more

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! I worked with Colorado Mobile Music as an Event Planner or a company retreat in Florissant, Colorado. They were insanely helpful, knowledgable and easy to use. I booked Ryan through the 2018 Rocky Mountain Bridal expo and booked Ryan for my reception in August 2019 from 7-11pm. Originally we had booked him for the photo booth and dj package he offered at the expo, we ended up no longer needing the photo booth but still wanted to keep him as our dj. We had a minor issue of him charging us more for a package than what he quoted, but we iorned that out and ended up selected the premium package. Ryan sent us an event planner to get a feel for what we were wanting for a dj, we asked for someone who would do a moderate amount of talking to get everyone involved. We had to ask him twice to get the music playing and around 740 we finally had something started. Unfortunately the music was very low and we had multiple complaints from our guests asking why the dj wasn't playing any music. After multiple attempts of asking him to turn it up I honestly gave up. In the premium package we were supposed to have and outdoor ceremony system and an indoor reception system as well as a wireless mic. We informed him well ahead of time that our reception was going to be outside and our intention to have some toasts. There was only one system used that was, as stated before, not loud enough and the mic we had was corded. We have attempted to contact Ryan several times via email and phone with no response and are extremely frustrated with the lack of services provided. A Spotify playlist and 3 Bose speakers would have been a better use of our money. read more

We worked with Ryan for our wedding reception DJ services, which included announcements (obviously), background music during cocktail hour, dinner, first dances, bouquet/garter tosses, and silent disco dancing. We actually booked Colorado Mobile Music for our event after finding out they were the most affordable company in Denver that offered silent disco as an option. I would say our experience with this company was average at best. We had some difficulties with responsiveness throughout the wedding planning process, even though Ryan said he was available through both email and text. We were also uncertain how to coordinate when we wanted regular DJ services versus the silent disco, and the directions we received were unclear until we had a phone meeting with Ryan to straighten it out. At the actual reception, we had to correct him on the pronunciation of names of several people in the wedding party (including the groom), even though we had gone over it on the phone about a week before the wedding, and he also spoke so fast during the grand entrance that he was announcing the bride & groom when the bridal party was still walking out. Needless to say, it was a bit awkward to walk out without your names being announced simultaneously. Finally, I was under the impression that once the silent disco started, there would be no more background music playing over the loud speakers, but the background music continued--which in my mind made the silent disco less appealing. All that being said, the wedding reception went so smoothly. Guests knew when important events were happening, and Ryan worked super well with our venue and other vendors. The silent disco also turned out to be a huge plus, as our wedding was at the end of July during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the silent disco allowed for easier social distancing. Our guests had a WONDERFUL time, and I doubt they noticed the small blips that I did! You definitely tend to notice the things you think went wrong when you have expectations of perfection, which I acknowledge that I did. If you end up using Colorado Mobile Music, make sure to communicate your expectations clearly, and everything else will be smooth sailing! read more

I will start off saying I would not recommend the Crested Butte office of Colorado Mobile music to anyone especially a bride that wants a DJ to stick to a schedule for a reception to be stress free. Pros: he played music the whole time and the lighting looked cool Cons: He did not respond to calls or emails from my wedding planner before the event until I talked to him and told him to, was seen kicking a ladder and other items at the venue when setting up, did not have a positive attitude, he seemed drunk at the wedding reception (was seen by guests drinking hard liquor throughout the reception), was rude to guests when they requested a song and said things like "that is a stupid song" or "are you serious" when the requests were made, was on his cell phone throughout the reception and did not talk much or try to keep guests engaged, had to be told BY THR BRIDE when to announce first dance, toasts, cake cutting, etc. even though he had been given A DETAILED SCHEDULE IN ADVANCE and was asked to follow it for the reception and he left his area a mess when he left for us to clean up the next day. All in all.. My 9 year old niece and an iPod could have done a better job and saved us a lot of money. read more
