11 years ago I had augmentation. Dr. Slenkovich was the only surgeon out six i didn't leave crying and more insecure. Recently I had a spontaneous rupture. I went back to Dr Slenkovich and within two weeks was in and getting reconstructive surgery. After I experienced complications. A normal risk, low risk, but still one of the risks. My tissues on one side werent getting proper circulation. Right away, I was acknowledged and heard. I wasn't dismissed. I wasn't. Told "let just wait. We'll see you at post op." It is immediate care and they saw me everyday for a week and even started treatments that aren't typically done on a regular basis. I was even seen by surgeon and my nurse on a Saturday. The kindness, warmth and empathy. Genuine compassion. Genuine support from the entire team was put this office above and beyond. I feel like I made friends. Never felt as though I was a burden. They got me in everyday without question. Not only the treatment. But the girls look better than I could have ever expected. Dr. Slenkovich has amazing bedside manner and is a master at his craft! Whether it's for fun, for confidence or for medical necessity. This practice makes you feel as though you are family. I cannot express enough to them how grateful I am. As an ER nurse I know we can be difficult patients- the worst really- but they never, never stopped encouraging me, supporting me and answering every question and concern. If you need a surgeon. From the second I walked into this facility I felt comfortable. The staff is so kind, Dr. S has excellent bedside manners. Usually I am TERRIFIED of surgery, but this is the first time I am not anxious in the slightest. Coming from a person with an anxiety disorder... that's phenomenal! Dr Slenkovich performed a Breast Lift - Mastopexy with Augmentation in June of 2020. I am now writing this review after having gone through a breast revision and explant surgery with another plastic surgeon in 2023. My horrible experience began right after my surgery. I was in pain, bloated, and was not healing well. Dr Slenkovich does not do follow up appointments to look at his work after surgery, he has his PA do them. I had to make several requests and even had to leave a comment on the Colorado Plastic Surgery Centers Instagram page before I was able to be seen for an appointment with Dr Slenkovich. My anchor scars, nipples and placement of my implants left me looking botched and embarrassed. I was told I did not heal well and was never offered lasering only an in-office attempt to reshape my nipples which did not work. For three years, I felt insecure and so unhappy with my body not to mention my procedure was $13,000 plus another $4,000 I had to spend on lasering since I was never offered lasering by CPSC. I am thankful to say that I am now happy in my body again and had a great experience with Peak Plastic Surgery (my healing was night and day difference) which made me realize I had to speak out on the treatment I received from Dr Slenkovich and his practice. Overall, I feel as though Colorado Plastic Surgery Center is only interested in taking money and performing quick surgeries than actual patient care, not to mention the bed side manor I received was non-existent. Juli Covelli was amazing - she is an expert in her field and brings the human connection we crave in health care (so rare)! She performed PRP for hair growth - session 1 of 4, she was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in many fields beyond this. More importantly -- she was approachable and fun to talk to while I was sharing my struggles with my hair loss and the root cause. I have always had very thick hair, it's part of my identity. She shared why she is so passionate about women's health and specifically hair loss based on her personal history. We discussed topics outside hair loss. I felt connected, and trusted her in leading me through this journey. The actual session... she confirmed this will work and she was there for me through the journey --- she gave me confidence in the effectiveness of PRP, and was transparent about the possible discomfort in the session. She was so amazing in the actual process - drawing blood quickly and working the PRP process rapidly. She and I chatted while it was happening (not fun, but "feeling" it made it real) and it will be so worth it! Loved she shared my plasma was the best she had seen, I had a good blood draw. Her expert feedback on technical questions about why PRP works was spot on and helped me understand why the process takes so much time, but is addressing the issue in a systemic and effective way. So it is hard to talk of the professionalism of the staff...it doesn't remain the same. I called to check being in the Botox club and the lady was less than interested if I came there or somewhere else. They do not answer emails and as stated before- once your surgery is over and it's been paid- the amount of concern and interest in you is gone! Paid $ 100 for a consultation fee, then had to wait over and hour naked in a robe waiting for dr. Typically I'm very open minded and understand how dr's get backed up but nobody came in to update me on this. Makes booking surgery questionable, will they be on time for follow up appointments... for the amount of surgeons in the area this should be corrected as competitively it makes this practice look less attractive. Also from a price perspective, they were also higher then several other surgeons offering the exact same procedures. Left feeling slightly ripped off over the $100 fee plus the waste of time waiting. I'm sure he is a good surgeon but a patients time is valuable as well! Hopefully someone can learn from this and not waste the $100 or hours of wasted time naked in a robe! read more

Similar to a previous review, this practice seems to be heavily money motivated and not patient care oriented. They don't even want to meet you face to face, they just want to make sure you have enough money to pay them. Many red flags were raised during the initial phone screening, and the $100 consultation fee is ridiculous, considering Dr. Dubrow in Newport Beach is $365. Dr Slenkovich obviously wants to be the Dr. Dubrow of Littleton, and desperately wants attention from the media. I know Doctors in Beverly Hills who seem to be more humble and personable, such as Rosenberg Plastics. And that's saying a lot. There are plenty of other genuine and talented cosmetic surgeons in Denver who will go the extra mile to ensure you receive the results that you're looking for, and doctors you can vibe out with and meet humbly in person. Nonetheless, the only positive experience from this was speaking with Terri, who is very nice and gracious. read more

Of the replies I received, Terri from the Colorado Plastic Surgery Center was able to give me the most comprehensive information as to what I should expect from the initial meeting with the doctor all the way through to the recovery process. I posted a negative review on a review website that Doc deleted as a result of my bad experience. I had brachioplasty to remove redundant skin and as a result have permanent nerve damage in my arm which is now extending into my hand & fingers. My scars are misplaced, ugly and very evident (not at all where he said they'd be!) Insurance will not cover neurology charges, as this is a result of a non-covered procedure, which are considerable. He is uncaring and unwilling to even acknowledge that his technique is poor. Women beware....he'll be charming at first meeting but once your check clears he's uncommunicative and unkind, especially if you point out anything you aren't satisfied with. And you won't always like the results of your surgery. I have "Michelin Man" arms as a result of his handy work and scars I have to hide, when all I wanted to do was wear short sleeves! read more

I am trying to figure out a way to explain in a short sentence how talented and professional Dr. Nick Slenkovich is. I had a breast augmentation and lift in 2008 that I wasn't happy with. That experience left me scared to try again with another surgeon. I have consulted with over 5 surgeons within the past 4 years and never felt like, "oh this is the one". By the time I consulted with Dr. Slenkovich I had looked at so many before and after pictures that I knew exactly what I wanted. The doctor and the staff are extremely caring and professional. They saw it, and contacted me to come back in. Dr. S looked over what he did, and I was told that I gained weight because of too much sodium. I never had that pre- surgery. I was very disappointed. I am 27 years old and had a breast augmentation a little over a year ago. I chose to wait a year after surgery to make sure I had healed properly and was still in love with my implants. I awarded myself with implants after losing over 50 pounds which caused my breasts to look "deflated". I could not be happier with my decision. My breasts now look beautiful and naturally full. The actual surgery was around an hour and my recovery time took around 2 weeks. I was able to play soccer again 6 weeks after surgery. I used to feel embarrassed about my breasts and would cover them during intimacy with my husband. I don't feel that way at all anymore and my husband absolutely loves my confidence. I came in yesterday for a breast augmentation and I am already thrilled with the results! The staff was kind and caring and made sure I had everything that I needed to be calm and comfortable. They were very warm and caring and I felt very safe! Dr. Slenkovitch made me feel very comfortable as well and his work is amazing! I highly reccomend this surgeon and I will be back for all of my future procedures! I also love their use of snapchat. It let me see how the surgery worked before hand and showed me how good doc is at his job. This doc removes all negative reviews from sites like Vitals.com so it appears he has nothing but satisfied clients. Not true! I still have ragged scars and permanent nerve damage on my arms and had to have my abdominoplasty re-done by a good cosmetic surgeon. Cosmetic surgeons brag about their superior technique in wound closure and how much better they are than general surgeons. I think a third world veterenarian could suture better. Beware, folks, and find someone else so you don't have the outcome I did. Slenkovich will never accept responsibility for poor technique. read more

I've been getting filler and botox injections for 15ish years and she is by far the most talented and attentive person I've worked with. It is obvious that she cares about her clients and takes her work very seriously. He will correct his mistakes but at a charge....yes he charges you to correct his mistakes. He is condescending and tries to turn it around on you. I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Nick Slenkovich MD at Denver Body Doc. As I assume most feel when considering any sort of surgery or procedure, I was skeptical and nervous to say the least. However all those mixed emotions and second thoughts dissipated immediately after meeting Dr. Slenkovich and his team. In addition to making me feel so welcome and comfortable, Dr. Slenkovich and his team took the appropriate time to understand exactly what it was I was looking for, explained to me the procedure that I would be having done, and further more, clarified the time line that I would be looking at for propper recovery. I am now 4 weeks post-op and am healing wonderfully. I was certainly excited for the procedure to be completed, but now that it is, and I am beginning to truly see/feel the results, I could not be happier! I have always been healthy and fit, but could never truly reach my physical goals until now. I am so excited for what is to come and feel truly blessed that I was lucky enough to find Dr. Slenkovich (Denver Body Doc)! I have never in my life taken the time to write a review for anyone ever.. Im choosing to do so now because I feel that I would be doing this practice a disservice otherwise. I went to Colorado Plastic Surgery 4 years ago for a tummy tuck and a breast lift. Dr. Nick told me that I would not get the results I wanted with just a lift and that I needed implants. Keep in mind that I was already a CC cup and was not looking to go much bigger. I just wanted to defy gravity. Trusting what I was told I agreed to the implants but decided on a size smaller than Dr. Nick recommended. After the surgery one of the implants was stuck on the top of my left breast and would not move to where it was supposed to be. Dr. Nick told me to keep massaging it to get it to move to the correct placement. I followed his instructions however the implant would not move. I ended up having to have a second surgery to place the implant correctly. I was forced to pay for the anesthesiologist AGAIN for the second surgery. I believe that Dr. Nick should have picked up the entire tab for the second operation. After healing I realized what a mistake I had made. My bra size is now a DD-DDD and I feel like I should be in a circus side show. I am extremely uncomfortable and look absolutely ridicules. I have finally saved up enough money to go to another surgeon to remove the over sized implants and give me the breast lift that I wanted. This is going to cost me around $13,000 to go to one of the best plastic surgeons in Denver rather than Bargain Basement Dr. Nick. Obviously I do not recommend Dr. Nick Slenkovich for anything. If I could give him less that one star I would. read more

After my initial consultation & first microderm with Jessica I have noticed improvements in my skin. My brown spots were gone before I even had my 1st microderm & peels. AMAZING SERVICES! I moved to Denver 2 years ago from Arizona and have been trying to find an Aesthetician that was knowledgable and could help me with my difficult skin in this dry weather. After searching for 2 years almost, 5 months ago I brought a living social deal to the Colorado Plastic Surgery Center. Jessica is the best Aesthetician I have come across in the area. I have troubled skin, and even at 26 breakout, and have brown spots. In this dry climate, I need some extra help with my skin to keep it looking nice. Jessica has been great, she has cleared my skin up, put me on great skin care line that is keeping my skin moist in this climate.
