My son's tutor was an absolute god send. She was uber engage with him, as well as our entire family. I have watched the directors make tough decisions and they have always done so in the best interest of the families. We are grateful for the way they handled COVID, ensuring that parents were a part of the re-opening decision and have taken the necessary precautions by making changes to ensure the safety and health of our children. I have referred friends and family members to them. The teachers also love my son. I originally chose Great Escape because they seemed to be the only place taking a September birthday at age one (part time). I am grateful for their care and flexibility. My husband and I will be first time parents, and so we came to the scheduled tour with lots of questions and curiosities. Prior to even going on the tour, the center owner, Michelle, responded to my online form and scheduled me for a time of my choice that week. When we arrived, the Head of School, Michael, greeted us at the front desk and took us to sit down and understand our priorities first. He then spent the next 1.5 hours answering all of our questions, sharing information helpful to new parents seeking childcare, and showing us the facilities. I have to assume most tours are not this long, but he gave us all the time we needed. As we toured the center, we could easily tell all of the families were well acquainted with the staff (it was pick-up time), and the teachers engaged with us as we visited their rooms. I even overheard a teacher enthusiastically telling a parent during pickup that she had pictures to share tomorrow regarding a milestone for the child. While there, we also met the other owner, Todd, and he shared he and his wife's passion for the center and why they keep their prices affordable for their community. We had toured another well-known and elite childcare center earlier in the day and were blown away by LTA, truly. We signed up for their waitlist on the spot and are excited about the prospect of our first child attending the school.

Everyone is hands-on, has an open door policy and truly care about the health, education and overall well-being of the students. My son loves to go into school every day, has a blast with his friends - you can enroll them in extra programs at a nominal fee. Their facilities and playgrounds are awesome, too. Their cook is amazing who provides a healthy variety of food options (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack). Any concerns that we had had were taken seriously, addressed immediately with action taken. LTA really fosters an environment that creates comfort and trust - I am confident when we drop him off that he's having a great day and sincerely engage with the school as our "second family". Other things we love: holiday program, parent's night out (first Friday of every month you can pay for babysitting until 10pm) mother's day tea, father's day breakfast, sno-cone social day, Halloween parade, fundraisers, summer picnic, the list goes on - but most importantly walking in every day to smiles of those who know and have a sincere relationship with my child just warms my heart, not just the teachers but the front staff as well. "Immersion" happens twice a year, and involves a few days of "deep diving" into non-traditional subjects to accommodate the way gifted children tend to learn. The topics change each time, so there is a wide berth of opportunities. The take-home workload often matches the pace of the classrooms, and parent/adult involvement is important to the overall success of children as they grow and evolve. From his first day of school it felt like home, I will never forget walking him down the hall and was amazed that all of the staff members knew my name! They have exceeded our expectations in every way. He enjoys art class, library time, music class on top of his daily classroom activities.
