During the eight years plus we have been here, I have built strong and meaningful relationships with teachers, parents and staff. The community at CHC is absolutely amazing! Cherry Hills Christian School has also provided an exceptional education while incorporating the word of the Lord. Chapel and the Mission program has truly been a sweet blessing for my kids. Our family started the application process for our son to enter Arma Dei Collaborative kindergarten…read more(Fall/2026) in October of 2025. We met all the criteria they had listed. We went through their very lengthy application process including having to pay for an application fee and $165 for student testing fee. I took my son to the testing. The staff said I had to wait outside the room during his testing and they would privately test my son. After the test, I asked how everything went and what was done during the test. They refused to tell me any details following the test (which was a bit uncomfortable), but told me it would be discussed during our family interview. Again, at the family interview they did not discuss my son's testing...My son is entering kindergarten and is reading at a first grade level. His preschool teachers regularly tell me he is ahead academically. I wasn't concerned about his performance but I do like to know what was discussed with my child and how he did. A day before May 1st, we finally received an answer regarding his admission. He was not accepted there was zero explanation for their decision. Just a short e-mail saying your not accepted, our policy is to not give any reasoning behind our decision, thanks for your time and money. The application was long, drawn out, lacked transparency about what testing your child is being given... and then their answer came at nearly the end of the school year. It is now very late for us to start looking into other programs as many of them are already filled. I called again to see if I could have the results of the testing we paid for but they never returned my call. Ultimately, we know it is best that he was not admitted. We do not want our child in a program that is not transparent with us as parents. It is just very frustrating to have waisted so much time, money and effort to apply. You may match all the criteria they have listed and they will gladly allow you to put in all the effort with zero intention of admitting your child or valuing your family.

Wow, very much is to be said on this school or parts of it…read more First of all, to make myself clear, this is academically an amazing school. The grades up to eight are great and teach you so much about faith and real world aspects. I would one hundred percent recommend this school but only up to 8th grade. After, it's not the best Many people understand how underdeveloped the high school or school of rhetoric is and send there kids to bigger school that will give them many opportunities to find what they like and meet many people. Thus, the high school doesn't have many kids to start with. Most of these kids are VERY dumbfounded in the real world and have some of the worst social skills. The only ones that do are the ones that get out of the little, underdeveloped antisocial ecosystem of the high school and participate in sports and extracurricular activities in different schools or different people. Thus, of the majority of the rest of the kids at the school are straight up weird and lack many skills that would have been acquired buy going to different schools like Valor. Another thing to be talked about is the dean of rhetoric, Dr.Aron Delinger. Now, if your student is incredibly good and never breaks the rules (this stereotype definitely relates to all the students in the ecosystem), then they will be on the deans good side. Now my student has had friends that aren't in this bubble and gets In trouble occasionally. These kids are often very nice and good, but they get on the wrong side of Dr.Delinger and he get INSANELY bias. My son, for his saftey I will not say his name, was denied access from the school prom because he didn't rsvp. Now our family was planning to travel to Denmark during this period but cancelled all our plans a week before the dance so he can go. Now, because he missed the rsvp he was denied a ticket to the school prom. My son and my whole family were outraged how we cancelled a whole trip but were denied. Anyway, he was planning to buy a ticket from his friend who got one but couldn't go, but Dr Delinger denied this and gave the ticket (from the kid that wasn't even offering it to him) and gave it to another kid who didn't rsvp but actually wanted to go. There are many things I could talk about on Dr.Delinger but it would exceed the text limit on the review. All in all, not pleased with this man and neither are many of the kids. As he said to a girl in my sons grade, and what should be said to him, "please leave the school permanently; this is not an expulsion because it would look bad on me, but your not allowed back." All in all, this is a good school to go to up till 8th grade, but if you have a extrovert, athletic, and a kid looking to expand and grow, don't send them here Thank you

I'm writing this review as a parent whose children attended Northridge Elementary School, and I…read morefeel compelled to share the deeply troubling experiences we endured over the years. My oldest son attended Northridge from 2nd through 6th grade, and his time there was marked by repeated incidents of bullying and racial discrimination. He was physically assaulted multiple times--on the school bus, in the hallways, and during recess. One of the most horrifying incidents involved another student beating him with my son's own 40oz Yeti bottle while hurling racial slurs. This was caught on camera and reported, yet the school failed to take meaningful action. Even during his final days at Northridge, the trauma continued. In May 2023, after receiving his yearbook, a student wrote the N-word in it. When I brought this to the principal's attention the last few weeks of school. On graduation day, I was told they were "sorry" but couldn't do anything because it was the end of the school year. That response was not only dismissive, it was unacceptable. Sadly, my younger child, who was in kindergarten that same year, also faced bullying. He was physically hurt when another student slammed his hand in the front door and was repeatedly cursed at and harassed during class, lunchtime and recess. Staff members were often disengaged, more focused on their phones than supervising the children. Again, the school failed to act, offering excuses and false claims that police had been involved, but none of which were true. Throughout our time at Northridge, incidents were brushed aside, and no real consequences were ever enforced. The emotional toll on my children has been significant, and the school's failure to protect them or take responsibility is beyond disappointing. I have other children, and I will never enroll them at Northridge. No family should have to endure what we did. Shame on this school for its negligence and lack of compassion.

Since then, the environment and leadership have shifted dramatically -- and not for the better. Our daughter was bullied for most of her 4th-grade year. Despite multiple reports, the principal seemed more concerned with minimizing the issue than addressing it. The Governing Board and principal even told us that our daughter "was not bullied enough for it to be an issue." I wasn't aware there was such a thing as "enough" bullying, especially at a school that claims to have a zero-tolerance policy. No real investigation was ever opened, and the student responsible was never spoken to. The administration excused the behavior by saying the other child "was having a rough time in life" -- as if that justified the pain and fear my daughter experienced. As parents, it's heartbreaking to see our daughter go from loving school to dreading it every day because she no longer felt safe or supported by the adults who are supposed to protect her.
