No accident slip was made (till after a few days later but no point of it since no one when wht happen). Director DENISE was very rude and didnt acknowledge the situation at first but wanted to talk about payment on account. When i told her i was disappointed on lack of communication from her she told me to turn in my keys because she didnt think it was a good fit. No apologies from her or her staff (besides the assistant director only person that tried to help) and no sympathy over the fact that my son got hurt and no one knew what happen!!! Very upset and will be handling situation since head director Denise doesnt care. Daycare was nice just wish the director cared about the parents and kids more

My younger son has always been very strong willed, and refuses to be coerced into anything, but at school, he has begun to challenge himself more and more. Don't even bother shopping around, the cost is more competitive than anything comparable and you don't have to sacrifice activities, personal care or safety. We love the staff and the extra effort they make to create a meaningful relationship with our child. Ever since upgrading their platform to the Brightwheel app; we get photos, videos, calendar of events, messages and payment options right in our phone. They do tie-dye, reptile visits, outdoor adventures, book fairs, special holiday programs and more! Unlike big centers, Bernie is caring and flexible with parents on individual situations. The staff is unknowledgeble with what the rules are of the school - we were told we could cloth diaper, but when we complained about his bottom not being completely wiped clean after a #2 diaper, causing diaper rash, we were told we shouldn't have ever been allowed to bring cloth. The infant staff is lazy and neglectful. On multiple occasions, I picked up my son only to find him crying and sitting in a bumbo, covered in his own puke. Staff was sitting around doing nothing. He was always confined to a seat, saucer, or infant bouncer - so much so that the skin on his left love handle was rubbed raw. When he had a cold, I had to soak him in a warm bath every day when we got home to get all the dried snot from off his face, arms, and hair because they never kept his nose clean during the day, despite me providing boogie wipes. Communication is nil. My son needed medication and we were told we had the correct form on file for them to administer his doses, but we didn't. Instead of calling me to get it taken care of, they just didn't give him the meds! It seems nice and rosey when you take the tour, but please please PLEASE keep your infant out of Bernie's!!

We have had our two children at Child Garden Montessori for 7+ years and I can't say enough good…read morethings about it. The teachers are committed, loving, and our kids have received the best care. The new leadership is dedicated to making sure all kids receive the best experience and they have worked with us through special needs and challenging periods, making special accommodations when necessary. We have toured other facilities from time to time as I have changed jobs and the location is no longer convenient for my commute, but we have always found that no other child care facility we've seen holds a candle to what our kids receive at Child Garden. We love the facility itself - the full gym is amazing, the meals are great, but it's the love, care, and practical Montessori-based instruction they provide that makes such a difference. I would like to share my experience with EPM, which has been quite mixed. While the school has a…read moresolid reputation, I left disappointed.  Not only in the education my daughter received, but also the overall attitude of the staff and unprofessional communication.   Communication from the staff was often unclear and inconsistent. I found myself acting on their recommendations, only to have them recant those suggestions when it was convenient for them.  It felt like I was being gaslit.  At times, my daughter's provider recommendations were not followed.  They would state my daughter was the only child not napping as an example, but yet there was a room full of children not napping.  They stated my daughter didn't have friends not knowing that we played with kids from class on regular basis and still do to this day.    A particularly memorable incident that encapsulates my experience occurred on Halloween. My daughter was thrilled to wear her light-up princess dress, exuding pride and excitement as she arrived at school. However, the teacher checking in students remarked, "wow, that is distracting," in an annoyed voice, which was incredibly deflating for my daughter.  I think my daughter picked up on that she was not liked by the staff and that impacted her.  The overall lack of smiles or morale didn't seem good in my experience.   Changing a child's daycare/school setting can cause a lot of disruption.  That is the only reason why we stayed as long as we did and tried to make it work.   On a positive note, Soccer Shots, Wee-Move, and Piano teachers/coach were great.

The teachers and staff are all very caring, and got to know our kids really well from the start. Our kids (2.5 year-old in Toddler and almost 5 year-old in Casa) had an easy time adjusting. We have a rule follower and an independent spirit, and the approach at EP Montessori has really helped both of them as they develop and learn. Both of our kids participate in activities that come to school (piano, dance, yoga, soccer) and enjoyed them, too!
