I am in the market for a new recliner, not a big fan of shopping in person and especially not of high pressure sales tactics, so I generally take advantage of the research online. This being said, I had seen multiple commercials advertising a "moving sale". I highly doubt they were moving but thought it might signal good prices and open the door for negotiations. I am one of those people who refuse to pay full price unless absolutely necessary. So, I got on their website and looked at a few recliners. I then sent an email inquiring about the quality of the leather. I also asked what the cash price was for it. This was on July 30th; I NEVER received any response and the email did not "bounce back". It is obvious to me that they do not want to do any legwork to sell anything. Very disappointed because I really wanted a new chair. After checking other Suffs reviews, I will be shocked if I ever hear back from anybody. Sad, somebody could have made a nice sale as I was looking at both a Stickley rocker and Lazy Boy recliner.

The items that we purchased that were in stock were delivered promptly not the 8 to 10 weeks estimate. The two large glass front bookcases were not. After 8 weeks I called to find out about delivery. After three days of "finding out where things were" I was told thatLexington Furniture never received a back order notice from Dovetail and that there would be another 8 to 10 week wait. What a coincidence! The same amount of time as if the bookcases had never been ordered! Today May 29, 2015 the bookcases ordered December 29, 2014 were delivered. The delivery men were polite and helpful however, the bookcases tip forward on carpeting because they do not have levelers which good quality furniture should have. The delivery men anticipated some issues because they noticed the lack of levelers but are not supplied with anything to compensate. The delivery men called their manager for a suggestion or at the very least the name of someone were could hire to compensate for Lexington Furniture's lack but the manager said that I was pretty much on my own for that. The delivery men did move a couple of heavy chairs in front of the bookcases to keep them from falling on top of us. They also left the shelves out as that made the bookcases even more unstable. For this kind of service, I could have saved a lot of money and ordered from Ikea. I have ordered from West Elm, spent a _lot_ less, and had a company who cared. #LexingtonFurnitureFail Edited to add: I called the Lexington Furniture Company and asked to speak to the manager. I was told that he was with a customer but would call me back. I explained that he needed to be fast because I was posting bad reviews on social media. The owner did look up my name and see what all had transpired. Lexington Furniture is sending someone to make these bookcases right on Monday. June 1, 2015 two hours after the appointed time, no help has called or shown up. Final update. I called the owner of Lexington Furniture directly. He arranged for a very nice man to come with a specific arrival time. The bookcases are stable and I am satisfied.

Some jewelry, some of everything. It's more comfortable & private than many places. We enjoyed shopping together. Someone has a green thumb & I wish they sold plants & unusual planters here. They also have an extensive vintage clothing selection. They have a lot of art and modern prints. They get new inventory often and do great Instagram sales as well. They do Venmo sales. And they have a ton of plants and planters; I wish I had a green thumb because their stock is amazing. Just today, I learned one of their plants in the store is reported to have lived with a couple for over 50 years. The owners are young, hip, creative, and very nice. They are taking social distancing and cleanliness seriously. This is in my top two or three shopping spots in Lexington.

I love the style of this store with a mix of antiques and new items. The store contained many Lexington pictures such as maps of the city and horse pictures and signs. The style of the store was a hip rustic vibe and many new and beautiful rugs and furnishings. There was also bar ware and bourbon barrel heads and bourbon stave items. The place contained many cool tables, bars, shelving units and military pictures and tables. The owner Chad Tussey was helpful and gave me a card with the website. The website was well laid out with the items divided into categories: furniture, accessories, bourbon barrels, cover your walls, oriental rugs, lighting, stuff for your bar, Kentucky made soaps, candles, and food, architectural salvage, hats, shirts, socks, etc., grooming supplies, new relic finds, and sale items. I will be back and really enjoyed my visit.

At the 8 week mark, I reached out by email and got no response. I reached out a second time via email and was told one sofa was at least two weeks late, the other would be an additional 8 weeks! I immediately replied and explained our predicament and got no response. After calling the customer service line, I received a call from the store rep who stated they never guarantee timelines, they just hope the furniture is in by 8-10 weeks and they are not informed of back orders on fabric. I was told a manager would call me and she hung up. Here we are - several days later, no phone call, no explanation.m and now we are stuck without furniture for a photo shoot and faced with having to reschedule agreed upon dates. It would have been nice if the rep would have followed up on our order rather than the customer chasing them down - maybe if they had we'd have known and been given a chance to rearrange our plans. This was our first and only purchase of custom furniture we'll make from Arhaus.
