This review is way past due. I wanted to share my experience with ColorsMesh because I was very impressed with every step of the way. This was the first time I ever used staging as this was the first time I sold a house. I was referred to ColorsMesh and Sweety (the owner and designer of all the staging set ups) by our realtors. They raved about how good she is and they were right. I first had Sweety over to look around the house, and collect photos and ideas for what she could do with what furniture/room styles we had. She did not charge for this appointment. I called and set up the appointment, but from then on, she was very accessible through text and always wrote back in a timely manner. She gave me an estimate on the spot and then she based the appointment to come back and stage at the house on when we'd have the place ready for her (we still had to move out and were getting the floors redone). She worked closely with me and my realtors to make sure her items were ready when we needed them. The day before she was going to be staging the house, she came over to drop off some of the items. This only took about 15 minutes. The next day when she came to stage, she took about 90-120 minutes to set everything up. It was a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. She was very meticulous and made sure that each room and detail was perfect. She used maybe 10 pieces of furniture/decor that I owned to help decrease cost a little bit. We ended up liking what she did very much, but more importantly, it definitely upped the look and style of the house drastically. Her color coordination was definitely on point, and she incorporates new trends in the staging as well. She used a lot of different patterns in one room, and made everything look very stylish. You rent her furniture for 45 days, and that is all included in the cost. If you're able to pay her right away, then the price is as is. If you need to wait to pay until after escrow closes, then she charges a little extra. I paid her through venmo, and it was very easy. We accepted an offer on our house within 3 days of it being on the market, but Sweety let us keep the furniture in the house that was useful to use during our escrow wait time. For example, we didn't have any chairs with our dining table since we were borrowing hers, and she also let us use a coffee table/side tables while we waited. Life saver! In the end, we had some lines crossed and had difficulty finding a day for her to pick up the furniture that worked with both of our schedules (things kept changing with our move in date at the new house, so it kept complicating things). Even though it wasn't the most convenient for her, she was able to come one night that I was home, and worked around my schedule. I was very thankful for this! We had a lot of different things we were juggling at once, and having one less things to "worry" about was nice. Sweety does her best to make things easy on you. She really is a very sweet person (she and my 1 year old daughter really got along ), and I enjoyed getting to know her, using her services and wish her the best with everything to come! read more
