I am very behind in writing this review. We have had Asa assist us with several projects in our townhouse over the past few years and have been very happy with his work. We first hired him to remove our dated popcorn ceiling which resulted in a beautiful smooth ceiling and really helped modernize the place (with little mess) plus some electrical related drywall repairs. He later helped us drywall a new fireplace we had installed and really went the extra mile making sure it was done just as we wanted and got it finished up right before Christmas! Recently Asa repaired some drywall damage as a result of pipe replacement. Asa is friendly, reliable, honest and does excellent work! We felt comfortable having him come and go while we were at work. Removed the popcorn ceiling in my downtown apartment; what a difference! The ceiling was nicely flattened, the painters that came in afterwards were very impressed with the work - having seen many other jobs done not as well. Beware that you do have to take everything off your ceilings and do quite a bit of prep work; Asa and his partner guide you through and are a great resource. Asa just finished my ugly 70's popcorn ceilings. I'm am so happy with them. It so dated my place. It now looks up to date. My condo was built in the 70's so, ceiling mud had asbestos. He did three coats of mud and then sanded. I was surprised it was not as much money as I thought it was going to be. Worth every penny and he earned every dollar!
