I came across the ad for Carpets for all in the Yellow Pages and gave them a call. The bloke (Chris?) was really good - he wasn't full of sales patter, he just turned up with a wad of carpet samples and took some measurements. He gave us an exceptional price (worryingly low) and we paid a deposit, never knowing if we'd see him again! But he was true to his word and his lads did a fantastic job of carpeting our house. They supplied all the rods etc, without charging any extra, and they did a few other little bits and bobs (cupboards etc) while they were there. The carpets are, as promised, really good quality and they look fantastic. We had a join in one section and I was worried it would look bad, but it's almost invisible. I can't recommend this company highly enough. They get most of their trade through word of mouth and I can see why. Apparently the credit crunch has hit them a bit, and it would be a shame if things went pear shaped for them just because of the current financial situation. If you need carpets fitted, then shop around but definitely give these guys a call before you sign anywhere.
