Now don't get me wrong I didn't have any problem running, etc while playing basketball, it's these little things that they make you do at the end of practice called suicides. I think the name says enough in itself. It's a dreadful line drill. Anyways that has always cemented in my head that running is punishment. So last year I foolishly took on the task of trying to run the Flora Women's mini-marathon, ok I was only planning on running like 2 miles and walking the rest. Since moving to Ireland the only running shoes I had were shipped over to me by my mom because I just found it so difficult to find a shop with a good selection of women's shoes that weren't outlandishly priced. A runner friend of mine recommended stopping into Mick Dowling's. I was amazed at the selection and how helpful the staff were. They even set me up with some other gear that I would need to make sure my training went off well. Now unfortunately for my training, the pub was right near the gym, and instead of encouraging our training my friend's boyfriend encouraged our drinking. Oh well, at least I have the gear the next time I decided to take up running.

Anyway, i did my little search, which didnt take long let me tell you, and there was no cantebury stuff at all, and al the other tracksuit bottoms had those awful gathered in ends with elastic, grrrrrr!!!! Had a little wander around the rest of the shop and i saw a similar situation in the childrens and womens section. None of the stuff was even particularly nice! At the end of my little trip to this shop I had concluded that this sports shop was actually more of a sports shop that was designed to sell sports stuff for fashion rather than for actually sports wear and that probably why the mens section was tiny, totally disappointed in direct sports shop personally but if your in the market for some everyday wear that is on the sporty side you might like something in here.

Well, it was and it wasn't. Yes, it is filled with every imaginable jersey but it is also filled with tons and tons of sports equipment. I was pretty excited because my boyfriend and I had been talking about getting some tennis rackets, but we're on a tight budget. I wandered around the shop for a while before I approached a sales assistant and asked for a little advice. He said they had some rackets but that another location would have more in stock. He also said that they come in a range of prices, from 20 euros and up! That is not bad for a tennis racket, not bad at all! I didn't end up buying anything, but when I need some sports stuff this'll be the place I come looking for it.

This time they said they would return the shock to Cannondale under warranty ,this would take two weeks, (a well I'm finally getting it fixed) . After a week they ring me and tell me there's nothing wrong with the bike and it won't be going to Cannondale to be fixed. At this stage I have the bike 8 months, and yes there is marks on it from being used. The manager tells me he can't give me a refund as there's marks on the fram. So it looks like I'm stuck with it. So this is my experience with cycle superstore, I certainly would not recommend them.
