NONE of these banks have anything on these guys. Almost no wait to get assistance with a rep. NO teller counter. You sit down at a desk, one on one with your representative. I have had accounts there now for 7 months. In that time, I have had to wait maybe 3 times, for under 5 minutes, seated. I usually go to the bank 3-4 times a week, as I am a business owner. The atmosphere is relaxed. Coffee and snacks as you walk in. CWB has attentive and knowledgeable reps who get to know their customers names, businesses, and lives. They do both business and consumer accounts. My husband and I were able to secure a commercial real estate loan through CWB after our previous bank, BoA (who we had banked with for over 7 years) would only approve a loan for HALF of the amount needed. In this case, local IS better. I currently have all of our business accounts at CWB. And due to CoastHills choice in making all of the their remodeled locations impersonal with no tellers in the lobby (see AG and Nipomo), I am considering moving all the personal accounts here as well.

NEeded 400 to pay rent, and had to get change. 10 people in line. 3 counters, but only one was staffed with a person who would handle things. The rest were staffed by what I call "do-nothingers" . Those are clerks that are present, but don't help you at all. They just stand there acting like they are doing things, but their sign says "next window please". Finally i had to leave and go to the one on broadway and stowell. Got there, there were 25 people waiting in line, and 5 clerks. About ten minutes later, it was the time for one of the 5 to "do nothing"! So she just left her post, and watched the 4 others instead of helping customers. All the while, im just standing in line. Left there too. Oh, and there was one other employee there watching the going ons. She was standing by the line of customers just doing nothing. I want a job there. I think I could be a star "do nothinger" ! I could act important as hell and not help anyone just like the best of them! So the trip to the banks failed. IT doesn't fail in Los Angeles where I live. But for some reason here, they are not competent enough to understand how to do banking things. Or anything for that matter.
