VERY awful! Please avoid this place at all cost. They are not responsive. Designer avoided me when cabinets were damaged. Installer was great, but he was not allowed to share his opinion. He was aware that the cabinets had problems. Designer lacked self-control and screamed at me for requesting follow-up and resolution. Job took over 4 months as replacement cabinet doors and drawers were repeatedly ordered. I spent over $30,000.00 and endured so many headaches. Avoid the poor service and gross lack respect for your timeline, home and money. read more

Established in 1991.

Columbia Showcase was founded in 1991 by Wayne Guariglia, originally specializing in manufacturing custom cabinetry. As demand grew, the company shifted to sourcing high-quality cabinetry while expanding its offerings to better serve clients' evolving needs. Over time, the business evolved beyond cabinetry, taking a more comprehensive approach to kitchen and bath design, including flooring, tile, backsplashes, and robust interior design services. In 2013, Kristin Caldwell joined the team as an interior designer, bringing fresh perspective and design expertise. Her leadership and vision helped shape the studio’s growth, and in April 2022, she became the studio’s new owner. With over 30 years of experience, Columbia Showcase Kitchen & Bath Design Studio continues to deliver expert craftsmanship and personalized service, transforming homes and businesses with thoughtful, high-quality interior design solutions.

Meet the Business Owner: Kristin C.

With a Bachelor’s in Marking and Transportation Logistics from Iowa State University, Kristin explored options in the field, but felt pulled to the world of design by her mother’s influence. Kristin decided to put her love of design and creativity to use by getting a degree in Interior Design while living in Phoenix, Arizona and has been in the industry since 2007. Kristin is committed to designing innovative concepts and creative solutions for your space. Personalized service assembling refined color palettes plus perfecting the mix of function and style are key components to Kristin’s timeless designs. Having been with the company as an interior designer since September 2013, Kristin took over as the owner of Columbia Showcase Kitchen & Bath Design Studio in April 2022.

The helped renovate and redesign an old country farmhouse into something that is both chic modern but still honors the traditions of Midwestern farm design. They've done a lot of projects in the region, the state, and even across the country. If you are looking to upgrade your home or have a new one designed, particularly if you have a taste for industrial/modern/clean look, Putnam Studios is well worth looking into. Note: they are not the cheapest group out there, but when it comes to house stuff you truly get what you pay for.
